18.01.2022 First Ever Post Ballem Civil now has social media. To start things off this picture shows our humble beginnings with Richard on his first day starting the business way back in 1970. The company was started by Anthony (Richard) and Maureen Ballem in 1970 and traded for 40 years as AR & MA Ballem. From humble beginnings the company grew over 40 years to include a fleet of machinery and vehicles and a small team of long term employees that undertook a vast array of civ...il projects across Western Australia. Through the years the focus of the company was to always provide high quality work with Richard, (operations) and Maureen, (accounts) personally handling all business matters. The business has now entered its second generation of family ownership and management but has retained its focus on personal service with Scott, (administration) and Christopher, (site operations) now overseeing all facets of the business. In recent times the business has extended its operations to include a contract management team headed by new business director Paul Chappell. Paul is a civil engineer with 35 years industry experience in managing major projects. He will oversee all facets of our sub division and major infrastructure works. #civilengineering #construction

16.01.2022 Ballem Civil recently completed our Clarkson Project see below what we achieved Over 5000 cubic meters of limestone rock was ground down and reused as fill material across the site. Cut and filled 42 split level lots to Geotechnical specifications... Installed all underground sewer, water, power and communications as well as an extensive aco cell storm water storage system to contain rainfall onsite. Constructed a 2300 square meter strata title road and car park for residential access Constructed a 900 square meter gazetted road (Tidal way) with calming ramps and block paved intersections. Installed European styled and designed street lighting Constructed 500 square meters of council spec footpaths and pram ramps Landscaped, installed bollards and hydromulched. #civilconstruction
