09.01.2022 Hi All Community, We have some exciting news! The NSW STATE AECG have a new Partnership Agreement with the NSW Department of Education. Here is some information around it.

04.01.2022 Ballina Cabbage Tree Island Local AECG is an Organisation that provides advice to government on educational and training matters that affects Aboriginal People. AECG has a 3 tier structure and operates at Local, Regional and State AECG levels throughout NSW. The Ballina CTI Local AECG is a group of dedicated volunteers, and committed to ensuring... Aboriginal Peoples views are listen too regarding educational matters. Our Local AECG is about our local Aboriginal People having a say on Aboriginal Education and Training from a local point/level. Your input into the AECG on a local level will work towards improving Aboriginal Peoples outcomes in Aboriginal Education and Training. Our Local AECG encourage schools, preschools, training groups, playgroups to all learn about Aboriginal Culture and strongly advocate that we instill all need to contact Local AECG’s must be contacted on any resources they use to teach Aboriginal Studies. On behalf of the Ballina Cabbage Tree Island Local AECG we would like to invite all Aboriginal Parents, Carers, Mum’s, Dad’s, Aunties, Uncles, Grandparents and our Aboriginal Young People to come along to a meeting to listen, have an opinion, talk about any issues and work with us to address these matters on behalf of our People. Our meetings are open for ATSI Community at the start and then Members meeting only.
