11.01.2022 We recently had the pleasure of District Governor Ana Andy Rajapakse visit our club. Andy shared his vision for growing membership and adapting to change. District Governor Nominee Karen Thomas, Geoff Palmer, President of the Rotary Club Of Nerang and Rotaract Club of Burleigh Heads rotaractors Zara, Catherine and Dan also joined us on this special occasion. DG Andy had the opportunity to take a ride in President Dave’s boat out on the Richmond River.

Funds raised will be used to purchase equipment for Ballina District Hospital.

01.01.2022 Representatives from Momentum Collective gave our members an opportunity to learn about what it means to Aboriginal people to have an Acknowledgment of Country at our meetings. Acknowledgement of Country is part of our club meeting proceedings. Thank you, Kylie, Brad and Amelia, for your presentation. We also had the pleasure of the Lord's Taverners Northern NSW chairperson Joanne Cooper at our meeting. Such a wonderful organisation giving the young and disadvantaged a sporting chance to follow their sporting dreams. Thank you Joanne for sharing with us the wonderful work the Lord’s Taverners do.
