17.01.2022 MONTHLY MEETING Monday 14th December at 6:30pm Slipway hotel The December meeting will look at preparations ahead of the next soccer season including registration days, publicity, preparation of equipment and merchandise. In addition, 2021 is the 50th anniversary for the club and will be a big year.... All coaches, players and committee members are welcome.

12.01.2022 GRAND FINAL DAY!!! Today kicks off with our men's 7ths (S2) and 6ths (S1) playing at 1pm before our men's 3rds play at 3pm on S1. Come on down to watch what will be some awesome games.... Just remember to stick to the Covid rules and be safe. Canteen will be open for food and drinks plus a sausage sizzle. Good luck!

02.01.2022 Hi all. Last week of soccer this week with games this weekend wrapping up a different and challenging 2020 season . With upwards of 350 players once again, a big thank you goes out to the parents , coaches and in particular the players who all committed to the 10 week season and made sure It was played in the right spirit throughout . We all took the attitude of participating and having fun, helping each team out wherever possible hence achieving many great results . To the... committee who worked with me this year thanks again for an awesome job under difficult circumstances . We may be only a small group of volunteers but we certainly get the job done to ensure the club runs smoothly as always . Yours efforts were greatly appreciated by myself . Mini Roos once again were a great sight to see when competing all together on a Saturday morning . In our juniors many of the competition teams have made the top 4 with one game to go . Good luck to all teams this week and final standings to be posted next week . The improvement in all teams was immense and a credit to the ability of both coaches and players . We are certainly laying a platform for future years in both boys and girls and we can all look forward to watching this grow . In our seniors once again we showed our competitive spirit . Our 1sts Div finished point score champions while 6ths Div made the semis . Both men’s 7ths and Ladies fifths have only just missed out . And this weekend sees our both our men’s 3rds and ladies 3rds competing in grand finals . Our men play at ballina 3pm Saturday and ladies on Sunday at 2.30 up at uki . Good luck to both . All other teams compete in their final games . Unfortunately due to a number of restrictions placed activities due to covid 19 we will be unable to have our club presentations as usual this year . To acknowledge and show our appreciation to all teams the club will be endeavouring to catch up with all junior teams over the next few days through training and game days . Hopefully everyone understands on our limitations for the 2020 season . Once again thanks to everyone involved in the club this year and for the effort put in . I hope you all enjoyed the season and return in 2021 to help us celebrate 50YEARS of our club. With our continued growth I feel we can only become stronger and results will follow in due course . 02.01.2022 The season officially ended last weekend and it certainly was a great to finish . Our men’s 3rds remained undefeated with a hard fought 3-2 win over eureka on Saturday . After dominating the first half the boys withstood a second half barrage to hang for the win and complete a great year. Well done to Dave and the boys . Then our ladies 3rds backed up on Sunday with a 3-1 win over top of the table Uki on their home turf. After an even first half the girls dominated the 2nd ...and came away with a great win . Congrats to Wendy , Toni and the girls . Together with our 1st division point score champions it was an excellent year for our seniors . Thanks to Seb and the boys for their great season . Overall over the weekend we had 13 competition games for 6 wins 5 draws and only the 2 losses making it a great way to finish the year . Thanks to everyone who played the final week . Well done to all mini roo teams as well and hope that all the kids enjoyed their team medal presentation . With our 50 year club celebration to be held next year it would be great to see everyone return and be a part of our club milestone . Details of actives to be held will follow in due course . Gear return for all teams will continue this afternoon from 4 - 5 to finalise the season . If anyone can’t make it please return to my shop whenever possible or give a call .
