21.01.2022 Once again we have a Change in Time for our Friday April 27th Dance - Due to the Kids Bingo during the school holidays - we are rescheduling our morning to mid-afternoon so our start time will be at 3:00pm - this allows the club to tidy up for us. 21.01.2022 The following information may not apply to all of you on my email list or facebook page but it is difficult at this point in time to separate the addresses and who they belong to so I have decided to send it to all there may be someone that you know that knew James and would be as devastated as we are at the moment. I have been associated with James and his family since he was a young boy. James passed away on Saturday evening September 22nd. For those who remember James Be...nnett (Age 45) Ballroom Dancer from a few years back, you will remember he partnered a number of students from my studio Ballroom Dance-In Gosford doing medals in Ballroom, Latin American, New Vogue and English old Time, he assisted in teaching at Erina Progress Hall and Niagara Park Community Centre as well as the Kariong Hall. James, also, did competition dancing and did extremely well in the various styles. Thank you for the incredible love and support that you have expressed as James’ family and friends. *** A Funeral Service and Celebration of James’s life will be held: Thursday 11th October 2018 1.30 pm In the Hillside Chapel at Palmdale Lawn Cemetery and Memorial Gardens Join us after for light refreshments at Kariong Hall afterwards - we do have caterers but if you would like to join others who are bringing a plate of something they know JAMES enjoyed please feel free to do so - tea coffee and soft drink will be provided but you are more than welcome to BYO. We will be at the Kariong Hall until about 8:30PM so join us any time. James was a loving Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Brother in Law and Uncle. We are devastated by his untimely death at age 45. 19.01.2022 Hi Hi - Our Catch up Class this Tuesday October 2nd 7:00PM at the 50+Learning & Leisure Centre will be the Excelsior Schottische. The intermediate/advance class will be the Vanity Waltz at 7:30pm - Social Dance until 10:30pm. The next Social Dance at East Gosford Progress Hall is at 1:00-3:30pm - bring a plate if you wish. 15.01.2022 Hi - I have decided to Postpone The October 20th Ball to Saturday March 16th 2019 at the 50+ learning and Leisure Centre. There are a number of regular dancers away at the moment and it is not viable to run a fund raising function with the bookings I have on hand. 08.01.2022 Hello fellow dancers My SOCIAL DANCES the 1st and 3rd Fridays will be RELOCATED at The East Gosford Progress Hall 10 Henry Parry Drive, East Gosford for the month of JUNE From 1:00pm until 3:30pm (June 1st and June 15th ) you may bring a plate if you wish. Tea/Coffee biscuits supplied as well as savouries. The cost remains the same $10 per person. There will be no hour tuition at this Social due to the time span unless we occasionally do a quick review of a request...ed dance. The 4th Friday of the month Morning dance will be cancelled for the time being. My number is 0412 493 435 for more information. Tuesdays over 50’s Class at Club Wyong will be still running from 10:00AM 10:30 AM for Beginners and for those who wish to review beginner dances. The Intermediate class will commence at 10:30AM approximately, for one hour and we are doing the Midnight Tango. The agreed fee will be $12.00. The Catch Up class at the 50+ Learning & Leisure Centre at 7:00pm -7:30pm is proving very successful and we are presently reviewing the Lucille Waltz. 08.01.2022 Our Easter Hat Parade on last Tuesday was oodles of fun super Hats for both ladies and gentlemen and the appearance of our Easter Bunny. Thanks for your participation it made for a fun filled evening. A couple of reminders now - we have our Friday dance on April 6th at Club Wyong at 1:30pm -4:30pm and includes 1/2 tuition. Tickets are available for the May 11th FALL Ball through Robert Hoogenboom and Tony Giles so lets support our CCLC internal ballroom dancing club. See you Friday
