25.01.2022 Support Ballymore Kindy in November - have a burger at Grill'd Newmarket! Every month, each of the Grilld restaurants support 3 local community groups. Each group gets a jar. When you make a purchase at Grilld you are given a token which gives you the chance to give back to a local group. ... During November, you can use your token to support Ballymore Kindy by placing it in our jar. At the end of the month, the restaurant will split the $500. The group with the most tokens receives $300 and the other two groups receive $100 each. 19.01.2022 We split our native beehives with Melissa from Sydney Stingless Bees. It was fascinating to see inside the hives. The bees buzzed around us and the honey cakes we baked were delicious!

12.01.2022 Today we enjoyed our first walk to our local "Bush Park", right at our back doorstep! We ran and ran and then we saw birds in trees, lady beetles and ant nests!

08.01.2022 We love books! This week, we are pleased to be holding our Annual Book Fair. Families are welcome to peruse the array of stories on display to add to their home libraries or to donate to the Kindy's collection. Reading stories is an important part of our kindy program as it supports the children to develop their imagination, divergent thinking and learn about the world we all share.

03.01.2022 Literacy and numeracy are all around us. During our Kindy days we have ongoing conversations about them and often play games or engage in activities that incorporate these skills. 'The Dice Game' is one of the children's favourites - the large foam dice is rolled, before counting the dots, and then counting the same number of children.
