25.01.2022 We are open all of this long weekend from 10-4pm, admission hasn't changed in many years and remains at $8 adults and $5 children which includes entry to the farm, museum and 18 hole mini-golf course; meals, snacks and drinks are always available, the secondhand shop is also packed to the rafters so come and have a browse.

25.01.2022 We are open everyday in the school holidays unless the forecast is around 40c from 10-4pm, adults $8 and children $5.

24.01.2022 We are open everyday over Easter including Good Friday from 10-4pm, come and say hello to the animals, wander around the museum, browse the secondhand shop then have a round of minigolf for $8 adults and $5 children.

22.01.2022 We all made it through that incredible heat with no casualties, the poor pigs suffered the most, they had wallows, hose downs and at one point wet sheets laid over them, so we have come out the other side and are open again for visitors.

11.01.2022 To all the girls asking if they can volunteer at the farm, I am happy for help every morning of the school holidays from 8.30-10.30, starting on Monday 10th, boys and parents also welcome, we will let out poultry, feed the lambs, move horses, feed pigs, feed elderly sheep, prepare yards and do any of the million other jobs that need to be done, strong covered shoes and appropriate clothing a must.

09.01.2022 With the forecast high temperatures for the next few days we will close Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th Jan, stay cool everyone.

08.01.2022 We are now closed until September 29th for the animals and humans to have a rest, all items held from buy swap and sell have gone back into the secondhand shop unless prior arrangements were made for collection, keep safe and warm eveyone.

04.01.2022 Yorketown forecast is 37c and extreme fire danger so we will be closed today, Friday 28th, hopefully the weather will be kinder to us and the animals from tomorrow.

01.01.2022 We have decided to close tomorrow, 6.1.18, due to the extreme weather forecast and fire danger, hope this does not inconvenience anyone but we must think of animal and human safety.

01.01.2022 We have had an extremely difficult year, a diagnosis of cancer for me, followed by surgery and radiotherapy, two operations for Pete and a couple of weeks ago nearly lost my father, all this with the worry of covid over our heads so we have decided not to reopen the farm, tearooms or minigolf, it’s with sadness that we do this, we will remain committed to all the animals in our care and they all have a forever home, thankyou to everyone who has supported us so well.
