Bracelets available in assorted designs including rose gold, gold, silver, rhinestones and pearls look. We like to work with orchids - Phalaenopsis or small dendrobium(Singapore), because they last the best! White is the most popular colour, but you are welcome to customise. Other popular flower choices: Mini roses, straw flowers, single delphinium florets, ranunculus. Please order at least a day or two ahead.

15.01.2022 Plants! We love them :) Fresh stock of succulent gardens and bonsais in 3 sizes. Cyclamens, Orchids and more :) Plants are the popular gift option for many occasions - from Birthday and house warming to the Sympathy and beyond.... They last longer then fresh flowers and have an ability to add life, piece and color to living spaces. We stock a large variety of the indoors flowering and foliage plants. Our ornamental succulent pots collection is vast and ever changing, very popular with locals. Come and see for yourself or give us a call to place an order :)

10.01.2022 I killed my orchid - a cry of desperation I hear all too often. Dear one- you didn’t kill it! Your lovely Phalaenopsis orchid just finished flowering and taking the time off to rejuvenate. Most of the orchids are forced to flower as quickly as possible by the growers and naturally need the time to develop further before flowering again.... Typically they would add a bunch of the air roots and few new leaves before new flowering stage. Most orchids flower once or twice a year. So when all the flowers are gone from the stem you can cut the stem off at the base, if you like me, and don’t like the ugly stick. Or you can trim it above the first sleeping bud. That way it will bloom a bit faster, but the size of the blooms will be smaller. The stems on the mini varieties of orchids usually just dry out by itself. Smaller varieties of orchids are flowering more often in my experience. Move your sleeping beauty( orchid) in the place were it likes to be: filtered light, indirect morning or late afternoon sun, away from direct blow of air con or drafts. Keep watering!!!!! Once a week with about 3 table spoons of water or a bit more for bigger varieties. Watch them developing and grow. Introduce the Orchid food after 2-3 months to promote flowering. You can get it at Bunnings. Dissolve according to instruction and water the plants with it as usual. You are much more likely to see the flowers after that. My orchids usually flower in winter as they need a difference in day and knight temperatures to promote the flowering. The most important step is to find an ideal spot for your orchid nursery. It might be not the one you personally like, but be fair to the plants and they’ll thank you with flowers

07.01.2022 That is the question I hear a lot :) We hand pick our flowers from Sydney flower market at Flemington. How they get there is a different story. 60%-70% of flowers sold in Sydney are imported from overseas or grown in other states. ... COVID -19 have hit hard our industry as well. The cost of freight have skyrocketed affecting the prices of fresh flowers and plants we buy and sell. With almost no planes in the air it is very difficult to secure regular flights for fresh produce and the cargo now travels at passenger price. You might have a world wide selection of flowers in a single bouquet: Phalaenopsis orchids and Anthurium from Vietnam or Singapore. Cymbidium orchids from New Zealand. Roses from Kenya, India or Ecuador. Peony and Allium from Holland. Chrysanthemums and Carnations from Malaysia. Lisianthus and preserved/dry lines from China. Bonsais, Lucky Bamboo and Phalaenopsis orchid plants from Asia as well. Lots of varieties are grown in Victoria. Tasmania mainly contributes Tulips and Peonies. Western Australia sends us mainly natives. What is grown locally? Greater Sydney, Blue mountains and East coast have farms producing: Lily, Gerbera, Snap Dragons, seasonal crops like Dahlia, Ranunculus, Kale, Hydrangea, Garden rose varieties, Sunflowers, most the foliage we use and natives just to name a few. It all works in the mix. Imported flowers compliment the locals. Some of the varieties are very labour intense ( Disbud Chrysanthemums) or require a special climate to reach the premium condition like high altitude farms in Kenya. As an industry we go a great length to get the best produce for your special bouquet of flowers. Hope now you have a new appreciation of what you see in your local flower shop. Lana
