25.01.2022 Geelong is a city with a rich and diverse history. The site of Balmoral Quay was once the home of the Rippleside Pier a key part of Geelong’s thriving shipping industry. Created in 1905, the pier was predominantly used as a workshop for vessels and operated until 1970. Pictured is the historical SS Edina leaving Geelong on its last trip on the 21st June, 1938.
