23.01.2022 A reminder that AUSKICK registration is open now. Please register your child ASAP to ensure they are part of 2019 exciting programme!!!

21.01.2022 The centre is still without a Coordinator and it can’t run without one! Please, if you think you could manage this role please dm and we can talk ASAP as there is a meeting for the region next week. Let’s make sure our centre continues strong this year!

17.01.2022 Hi Auskickers, Just a reminder that Auskick will not run over the school holidays. I hope you all have lots of fun over the next 2 weeks and I look forward to hearing about your school holiday adventures when we return on July 19th

17.01.2022 A huge welcome to Ronan Keogh, season 2019 Balnarring AUSKICK Coordinator. Ronan has been a member of the Balnarring JFC for many years and is excited to give back to the next generation of footballers. Ronan will be juggling this commitment whilst finishing school, working part time and following his own sporting endeavours. His mum Nikki Keogh will be helping him behind the scenes and she is a superstar administrator with many years experience. Get your registrations in ASAP and get excited about season 2019, Ronan sure is!!!! Nikki Keogh https://play.afl/auskick

16.01.2022 Presentation Day Sunday August 11th. We do not officially finish until the following Friday, however Sunday 11th is the last time Balnarring JFC will have home games this year and we really wanted to take the opportunity of being part of it. So we have 2 Auskick sessions left (weather permitting) ** Friday 9th August will be back at Balnarring Reserve ** Friday 16th August will be at Somers Reserve... We know that the moving around is a bit confusing, but due to circumstances out of our control it is necessary to be able to run the sessions. I will try to remember to put a reminder out on Thursday or Friday to let you know which ground we will be at. See more

15.01.2022 A reminder to all Auskickers returning for 2019 to register asap as Balnarring Auskick has been allocated an MCG opportunity for late April. Only registered Auskickers are eligible to participate. Visit https://play.afl/auskick and select Balnarring Auskick Additionally we are pleased to announce that Ronan Keogh will be coordinating the centre in 2019, with the assistance of Matt and Nikki Keogh. I have no doubt that the great work from last years centre will continue.

13.01.2022 Hi Auskickers, We have been monitoring the weather all day waiting for the promised "Showers clearing" to happen. Unfortunately, the showers continue to develop just off the coast so we cannot determine when they will actually clear. The most current report shows it raining right through until the evening and even if it stops raining at 4pm all the equipment that will have been set up will be soggy and slippery. So unfortunately, for the sake of safety and everyone's health, we have decided to cancel Auskick today. We know you will be disappointed and we are too. We hope that the weather starts being kinder to us for future Fridays.

13.01.2022 Hi Auskickers, It is another perfect day for Auskick! I hope you are all ready for some more footy fun. We love to have people help out with the activities. The more helpers the better! It is the easiest job in the world to get. No experience required, no age limits, you don't even need to know footy - just a sense of fun and you are qualified. Please come and see me or one of the coaches and we will be more than happy to give you a role in the games. If you have other little ones we can make sure the role we give you accommodates that. See you at 4. Ronan

10.01.2022 Hi Auskickers, The Queen may be having a day off for her birthday, but we are still on deck for Auskick this afternoon. Weather forecast looks perfect for footy fun. See you at 4pm.

10.01.2022 Hi Auskickers! I'm very excited as Auskick starts in 3 days! I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new Co-ordinatior of Balnarring Au...skick. I am currently studying year 11 and I enjoy playing multiple sports and being active. I'm really looking forward to helping the Auskickers learn sporting skills and having lots of fun along the way. Auskick will start from 4pm until approx 4.45pm at the Balnarring football oval (on Balnarring Rd) Auskick requires that, as well as a co-ordinator, we need to have 3 coaches (one for each level) and also parent helpers each week. These roles are not difficult and lots of fun. Unfortunately we can not run without them. Please contact me in the next couple of days if you would be interested in these roles as they MUST be filled before Friday. I am happy to answer any queries about these roles. Looking forward to meeting you all on Friday. Ronan

09.01.2022 Hi Auskickers, I know the weather looks a little dreary at the moment but looking at the radar we think it will have passed by 4.00pm. So, unless the forecast changes dramatically, our session will be running this afternoon. After all footy is a winter sport and mud play IS fun! We suggest that you bring towels and car seat coverings (and possibly even a change of clothes) We will monitor the weather forecast and message you if there is any need to cancel, other wise we will see you at 4.00pm for some footy fun.

08.01.2022 Unfortunately, due to the large amount of rain that we have had, and more rain predicted tomorrow, we have been asked not to use the ground at Balnarring as it's condition has been deemed as potentially unsafe. It is my understanding that the teams have also been asked not to train there this week until the Council has had an opportunity to inspect it. In these circumstances we are going to cancel Auskick this week. If this continues to be an issue ongoing, we will endeavour to source another venue for the rest of the sessions. I will keep you updated and hopefully have some more information early next week.

07.01.2022 Hi Auskickers, Unfortunately, the ground at Balnarring is still not in good condition and with this weather is not likely to in the near future. However, the show will go on and we are lucky enough that we have been given access to the oval at Somers on Friday from 4 to 5pm. ... ** NEW VENUE ** RW Stone reserve Camp Hill Rd Somers Please be aware that I am coming from school at Mornington so I may not get there until right on 4 - but I will be there. See you tomorrow!

07.01.2022 Last 2 spots available for grid game (half time game) on ANZAC Eve at MCG. How awesome to play at the Tigers versus Dees game. Message me ASAP to snap up the last 2 remaining places

07.01.2022 Any registered Auskickers Grade 3,2 or 1 and would love to play a grid game at the ANZAC Eve game. Send me message ASAP...

07.01.2022 We think that Mums would prefer breakfast in bed to sick children on Mother’s day so, due to the rain and cold wind that is forecast, we have decided to cancel Auskick for today. Stay home and keep warm and dry. See you next week!

06.01.2022 Registration for Auskick is still open. There is a link in the comments for the page to register. It's going to be heaps of fun! Come along and join us.

05.01.2022 Hi Auskickers, The weather outside is pretty bleak and the forecast is not looking promising for the afternoon. If the forecast is no better by lunchtime Auskick will not be running this week. I will let you know a definite decision by 1 o'clock.

05.01.2022 Hi all Auskickers! Thank you to everyone who help out last week, it was much appreciated. Unfortunately the weather was not ideal and due to a communication error and some teething problems the sessions didn't run quite as planned. We appreciate your patience with this and will endeavour to be more organised this week.... As you will have seen, we need parent helpers and the more helpers the better. Please contact me before Friday as we need several helpers for each level. If you contact me before Friday I will be able to send you the instructions of the game you will be doing. We are required by AFL to have a coach for each level (1,2 and 3). Level 1 will be Kinder Kids, Level 2 will be prep and Level 3 will be grade 1 and above. We already have an awesome Prep Dad who has volunteered to be the Level 2 coach. We still need Level 1 and Level 3 coaches so please contact me urgently if you would like to fill this role. I had lots of fun last week and I hope the kids did too. Looking forward to seeing you all on Friday Ronan
