23.01.2022 A great thing about working alone is self isolating is quite easy to achieve, patiently spending the time required to create this incredible pair of Kunzite and diamond drop earrings. Apart from the twelve months or so it took to source two matching pairs of Kunzite that not only match each other but the other pair was quite the feat! I really enjoyed the design and making process of these, hand crafted in 18ct Rose gold and 18ct White gold.
21.01.2022 Another variation on the Aquamarine and diamond three stone. This one has a Square Emerald Cut centre Stone bracketed by a pair of pear shape diamonds, handmade in Platinum.
21.01.2022 A recent pair of earrings designed and created for a special client. Experimenting with Dyed Anodized Aluminum for colour and weight as the pearls are quite heavy, the tops needed to be light. With screwed on 18ct white gold back plate with fittings, pàve set with Black diamonds and Baroque Tahitian Pearl drops. A very dramatic look which I’m really pleased with how they turned out.
21.01.2022 Fell in love with this pair of drop shape burnt Orange Cabochon Tourmalines as soon as I laid eyes on them and this simple hook earring design compliments them perfectly. Created in 18ct Rose Gold they turned exactly as I had in mind. @ Balthasar Jewellery
16.01.2022 This ring I had the pleasure of creating for a gorgeous friend to commemorate a special occasion. Featuring a Natural Tahitian Pearl and also set with brilliant cut diamonds, this piece is handmade in Platinum. Love how it turned out and love how you see the pearl through the pierced out setting!
15.01.2022 Just shy of 15 years we’ve been operating from the second floor of the beautiful 90 year old heritage listed New South Wales Chambers building at 190 Bourke Street. Have enjoyed many a wine on the balcony overlooking a bustling Bourke Street which is currently resembling a bit of a ghost town, hopefully soon it’ll be back to it’s usual self! I shudder to think how many times I’ve walked up and down those stairs :). @ Balthasar Jewellery
14.01.2022 My first post after quite some time as have been very busy with pre Christmas creations but now back for another amazing year! This piece was designed and created for a client featuring a magnificent Natural Pink Morganite drop. Quite large in size, this piece has been hand made in 18ct White Gold wrapped in fine diamond set wires to give the appearance of being tied up with string. A great effect and really happy with the final result. @ Balthasar Jewellery
12.01.2022 Something for the boys... a gents platinum handmade wedding ring which was created several years ago and recently came in for a refresh. Now it looks as good as it did on its wedding day. Always enjoy seeing a piece I made return so I can check on how it’s wearing and give it a clean and polish. Please feel free to pop in if your piece is not looking it’s sparkling best

06.01.2022 This pair were designed and created recently again experimenting with dyed anodized aluminum which allows the polka dot diamonds to pop and the faceted pear shape Citrines to stand out in contrast. All screwed onto 18ct White gold backings and hooks, naturally all hand forged and handmade. These were very well received by the client and I was pleased with how they came together.
