If you're taking the challenge into your home, school, business or organisation, listen up! During July you may sign up for a day, a week or the whole month, stay aware and follow the no plastic movement! Hobson's Bay City Council, Baltyk Deli and other local vendors involved, are encouraging participants to post on Facebook/Instagram embracing the no plastic cha...llenge by using the #NoPlastic hashtag. What does the challenge exactly involve you ask? Well, this means refusing as much plastic whenever and wherever you are presented with it: e.g. plastic bags (take your own re-usable bag), plastic straws (just say no thank you) and plastic water bottles (take your own re-usable water bottle). Try to remember to bring your re-usable bags, bottles and drink mugs with you when you go out. Keep some re-usable bags in your car and always keep your re-fillable water bottles handy! It's up to you regarding how long you participate. Even if it's not the full month it will still make a contribution. So... are you ready to take on the challenge?!
