24.01.2022 While the covid-19 regulations for the coming week are still in doubt, and we must abide by our landlords ruling on the use of the hall, we will restart this coming Tuesday at 5pm. If we can't use the hall we will have an outdoor session in the car-park. Needless to say no throws or groundwork.

22.01.2022 Oh Dear! Here we go again. Judo players are, unfortunately, not essential workers unlike tennis players, so all Judo in Victoria is shut down for Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Everyone who has paid a term fee will be given a pro-rata discount on next term's fee.

21.01.2022 According to this person Karate Kata are just another way of practicing Judo. Do you recognise, - uki-otoshi variation, basic seoi-nage defence, hadaka-jime (illegal version) & ko-uchi-gari, gripping drill, ude-hishigi-waki-gatame,, uki-goshi, bear hug, o-soto-gari,, hiza-guruma, (nidan) ko-soto-gari, sumi-otoshi. See if you can put the name with the technique.

21.01.2022 A fascinating look at what what can be accomplished with a lot of practice. Breakfalls are one thing followed by the very supple practice without stiffness. Definitely for the young and fit, though.
