25.01.2022 Thank you to my beautiful friend Hannah who delivered cotton from her farm to Bambini for the children to observe. The children were fascinated with how it was on the branches, so much discussion and beautiful paintings came from the children observing the cotton.It will continue to be of interest to the children and its beauty is showcased in our art studio for everyone to see.

24.01.2022 We celebrated Father’s Day on Thursday with a magnificent lunch prepared by our chef Nicole. The children were excited to perform songs they have been learning with Gabi. Happy Father’s Day from all of us at Bambini, enjoy tomorrow.

23.01.2022 Today the children at Bambini had the privilege to learn and connect with some of the residents at AVEO Freedom Care. This was the first of what is planned to be regular visits. The children were eager to interact with their new friends, after formal introductions it was time to play, paint, read stories and engage in conversation. The connections between old and young were beautiful to watch. There is now a plethora of research to support the Intergenerational programs, giving children the opportunity to learn from and connect with an older generation. We look forward to continuing the relationships with the residents. Thank you Gina Herden for making this happen

23.01.2022 Our first Christmas was celebrated at Bambini today with a visit from Santa. We would like to wish all our families a wonderful Christmas. May you feel the love, peace and joy that come with the spirit of Christmas. We close tomorrow at 6.00 pm and re open on Monday 9th January, 2017.

22.01.2022 Well it is Christmas Eve and not long until the children will wake to the magic of Christmas. Thank you to everyone who has supported us this year in a year like no other. From each and everyone of us at Bambini we are so humbled by the gifts, kind words and all of the baked goods and the generosity shown to us as staff. 22.01.2022 The food at Bambini is nothing short of spectacular. Each day fresh produce is lovingly prepared by Bonita. The children experience sitting down together each day in the Dining room for meals.This week on the menu was Pear and Rasberry bread.A fruity snack that children will love. This bread is beautifully soft and delicate with a punch of tart Rasberry. Made with simple ingredients such as flour, eggs, milk, ripe pears and raspberries.

21.01.2022 The children loved Morning & Afternoon tea at Bambini. Our wonderful cook Nicole made beautiful platters of fruit and vegetables to encourage the children to try something new. The colours were exquisite, and the children were excited to choose what they would eat.

On behalf of everyone at Bambini we would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. It is a wonderful time of the year as children anticipate the count down to Santa arriving. We wish our families and children who are leaving us for school the best for the future. We have loved you all being part of Bambini. We have appointed an Atelierista to work along side our Educators to assist with beautiful set ups for the children. This position brings a unique artistic expertise to Bambini. 20.01.2022 The beginning of 2018 at Bambini brings new changes. We welcome new staff who join us along with new families. We have been busy over our two week closure with lots of work happening in our back playscape. We look forward to sharing photos over the coming weeks of our stream in action. We currently have some vacancies in our Juniour Room for three year olds. We have a few single days available in our Preschool Room. 19.01.2022 Today we celebrated Mother's Day at Bambini with a beautiful morning tea that was lovingly prepared by our devoted cook.... Bonita Grogan. Thank you to all staff for their huge effort and to Gabi for teaching the children so many wonderful songs. We celebrate this special day as we acknowledge that one of the most important relationships we have is the relationship we have with our mother. 19.01.2022 Sergeant Buko and Senior Constable Dyson kindly organised a special visit to Bambini to speak with all the children about police services and safety. Everyone listened attentively to their messages and thoroughly enjoyed their time dressing up and climbing in and around the highway patrol car. Thank you Michael and Lisa for a wonderful presentation and opportunity to engage with you and our police services.

16.01.2022 Our beautiful mural is finished by my dear friend Guy Downes, so much detail is woven into the fabric of this painting. Guy has spent months lovingly painting this in his studio in Uralla. The children will have the opportunity to interact with this mural that depicts the four seasons of Bambini. Always Nothing without joy.

15.01.2022 We celebrated Father’s Day at Bambini with a small performance of songs from all of the children. All of our guests were treated to a spectacular luncheon of Pulled Pork rolls, mini Hamburgers and potato skins stuffed with an array of condiments. Thank you to our amazing Chef Nicole Jones for all of her hard work, a big thank you to Gabriela Mc Donald for all of the rehearsals and to all the wonderful staff we have at Bambini for making this day so special. Thank you to everyone who shared in this day with us.

15.01.2022 The beginning of 2019 welcomes new families to Bambini. Many of our children have gone off to school for the next chapter of learning. The environment at Bambini continues to act as a catalyst for learning and to ignite childrens imagination. We are excited for all of the possibilities that 2019 will bring for the children and Educators.

We are always amazed by the capabilities of children. So much creativity using loose parts to reimagine with new possibilities. The joy of painting and experimenting with colours, and of course the joyful discovery of flowers blooming. We are missing all of our families and children who are in self- isolation. 13.01.2022 The children were busy making their mum in the work shed from bits and pieces. Lots of hammering and choosing recycled parts for eyes, mouths, noses and arms.... It was then time to decorate with glorious fabric & wool. So much love for Mothers Day. We hope you all had a beautiful day and enjoyed the beautiful creations.

13.01.2022 We are continually asked about our program at Bambini. For 5 months now the children have been involved with the sunflowers. They have planted them from seed, cared for them all over the hot summer. Watched them grow each day. They have watched the king parrots come in and eat the seeds and we have taken the remaining heads to harvest the seeds for next summer. The children have drawn & painted the sunflowers. The sunflowers have been carefully examined under the magnifying glass. So many wonderful rich experiences have occurred. So much learning

10.01.2022 The inspiration for the children’s clay creations has come from the gorgeously, bright and colourful picture book Feathers for Phoebe by Rod Clement. The message of this story is to be yourself and that will be enough. A message we all need to be reminded of. Paintings and weaving from the colours of Spring has been a catalyst for creativity at Bambini and a day would not be complete without a unicorn.

05.01.2022 Today the children had the opportunity to cook lunch in our fire pit. The children were able to toast marshmallows and enjoy them sandwiched between the Maree biscuits. We know that everyday life is full of risks and challenges and children need opportunities to develop the skills associated with managing risk and making informed judgements about risks from a very young age. Exposure to different risks such as open flames result in developing more confidence and safety awareness. It was also pure joy for the children and educators.

01.01.2022 NAIDOC Week was celebrated at Bambini. We were thrilled to have one of our dad's, Trevor Roberts come in and share his culture with the children. The joy on his daughters face says it all. Many stories were read each day.... a favourite was "Dunbi the Owl" based on a true story told by Daisy Utemorrah of the Worora people. The children spent time in the Art Studio painting Dunbi with intricate detail.
