19.01.2022 Today we acknowledge National Simultaneous Storytime. Miss Margret was able to get a copy of the book Whitney and Britney Chicken Divas, written and illustrated by Lucinda Gifford. This is a fantastic book!

17.01.2022 Did you know October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Breast Cancer won't wait but everything else can! We have teamed up with Bakers Delight Currimundi to raise awareness for breast cancer research. The children absolutely loved decorating the finger buns that Bakers Delight donated. We also did a range of other activities that the children loved participating in. The children were so eager to bring in their donations to put into the donation tin it was great to see everyone get involved, Thank you to all our wonderful families and thank you to Bakers Delight for helping us raise awareness!

15.01.2022 Today our pre kindy 2 friends participated in worlds biggest morning tea to raise awareness for cancer. Our friends came dressed as princesses, fairys and in there smart clothes with a teddy. They were all very excited for todays celebrations. We all enjoyed different teas from mango, pineapple to mint and lots of yummy treats they made and we were lucky to have so much shade outside were we could enjoy the outdoors.

It is a time to recognise the resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the power of saying Sorry. We have had the best time working as a team and all getting involved in developing this exciting environment. There is a display in the hallway we encourage you to view on your travels. We need some help from you all, if you have any donations we could use in our new kitchen for example, cookware, cutlery, pots and pans, trays, silverware, loose parts, natural i...tems such as pine cones sticks sea pods, We can re-purpose this to help ensure we are supporting our environment to be happy and healthy by recycling and reusing your donated items. 'On persons trash is another one's treasure' We can't wait to watch this evolve into something even more amazing as the children play and explore this environment!
