20.01.2022 Covid-19 At present it is business as normal where we are open to the public from 0700-1600 daily (except Sunday) There is still an opportunity to call in to our isolated 100 acre bamboo pollution free farm to select/collect nursery plants, poles, fences or ply sheets for whatever project one has in mind. Following the devastating drought we managed to maintain our nursery plant stock and have plenty of bamboo species available to screen out the neighbour or establish a beautiful stand-alone feature plant. 18.01.2022 We wish to advise that we are operating more or less as normal. Our trading hours are still the same for anyone wishing to call in and collect from our range of poles, plants, ply & socks. Transport throughout the country is still operating, although some of the Southern states are experiencing longer transit times than have been experienced in the past. Australia Post parcel service is experiencing longer delivery times than the bulk carriers and couriers.We are still shippi...ng out twice weekly, but please be warned that there may be a longer delivery time on some consignments. Live plants are packed in the same manner we used when shipping overseas, as such a slightly longer transit time within Australia has been taken into consideration & the plants packed accordingly. Stay safe and abide by the rules that hopefully will see an early end to this terrible pandemic. See more

15.01.2022 With over 100mm of rain in the catchment area our creek which had been dry for the past six months is flowing again, guaranteeing at least three months irrigation water, even if no more rain. If the weather gets back to normal then we have a permanent supply (until the next drought). Now waiting to see if the clumping bamboos put up some new shoots following 149mm on our farm over the past three days.

15.01.2022 Bamboo farm. Regardless of the world falling apart our creatures pictured have little to worry about. Herewith the animals with whom we share the lovely environment on our 100 acre bamboo farm. Latest arrival are a pair of Wedgies building their nest in an old gum tree.

10.01.2022 More of our flag poles, this time the Sydney Festival. Apologies for the image quality, (still waiting for the on site originals). The flag poles were harvested, rotating caps manufactured and the lot shipped to Sydney on a large truck. In total 270 Belli Park bamboo poles erected around the Barangaroo precinct. All were painted red to match the flag colours. Still plenty of poles here for anyone needing for flags or construction projects. We deliver Australia wide.

10.01.2022 Bamboo shoots, golden varieties. (For ABS friends etc). Depicted are species that produce juvenile shoots of a golden colour here at Belli. All grow out to gree...n when full height except fot the D. latiflorus Mei Nung. I'm still trying to learn how to label, so in order of left to right, B. vulgaris wamin. D (or B.) valida. B.beechyana pubescens. D. latiflorus. B.valida. D.latiflotus. There can be some variation in colour from plant to plan, but the most spectacular are the Valida & Beechy pubescens. 07.01.2022 Flags galore at the 2020 Womadelaide music festival, all flying from Bamboo Australia's bamboo poles. Over many years we have been reliably supplying bamboo flag poles (and light poles) for this annual event. This year the exceptionally large and beautiful flags flew in all their glory in absolutely perfect weather over Adelaide's long weekend. The festival is more of a family day out accompanied by brilliant performances on the multitude of stages in the Botanic Park. Another memorable visit!
