25.01.2022 Sunshine and flowers Bamboo Park is proud to announce our first batch of organic honey This delicate honey has the translucence of amber, with a subtle floral taste.... Beautiful on breakfast cereals and smoothies, drizzled on blue cheeses and Brie, with walnuts, on sun-ripened figs ... honey enhances every part of your day. Or make like Winnie The Pooh and enjoy a classic honey sandwich, perhaps with local artisan sourdough. This handcrafted spring batch has a well-balanced floral and fragrant quality. Our bees collected nectar from more than two million flowers for each 500g jar of this unique honey Only 20 jars available. $8/500g glass jar. Or bring your own container for $7/500g. Good honey has a distinct sense of place and reflects where it comes from, mirroring the environment it is collected in. Honey has always been highly regarded as a medicine, helping with everything from sore throats and digestive disorders to skin problems and hay fever. Honey has antiseptic properties and is still used as a dressing for wounds and a first aid treatment for burns and cuts. The natural fruit sugars in honey are the healthiest way to have that sweet taste we love so much. Ideal for children and used by athletes for a natural energy boost. Available at Bamboo Park, Wednesdays-Sundays, 10am-4pm.

25.01.2022 Last weekend we have traveled to Lamington National Park to enjoy the beautiful nature and do several walks Along the way, we have seen lush and huge ficus which shaded the roads and have life to the rainforest. At Bamboo Park we dream big, so we took a few photos to inspire you and show you how big our current little Ficus will be! Ficus survives the cataclysm that ended the giant dinosaurs and many other species. They spread throughout the world creating new species and b...ecame the most varied group of plants (over 900 species) These plants fed all our ancestors as well as offering other gifts to the creators of the first great civilisations. 25.01.2022 These are the gentle, green giants which line our driveway, Bambusa Oldhamii. Often used on large properties as windbreaks for pasture or fruit and nut trees, the old hamii is a super versatile large clumping bamboo. Planted 2m a part, they look awesome for a large screen in the garden but can also be used for their edible shoots and timber. The dark green of the poles really help to give that tropical feel and we love the shelter they provide other plants. Our 3L plants are ready to go and at $25 each they are very affordable giants. All welcome to visit us at Bamboo Park, 919 Yandina Coolum Rd, where mature plants can also be viewed. Thank you, enjoy the rain

23.01.2022 Gracilis Bamboo (Slender Weaver's Bamboo), fantastic screening bamboo. Clumping bamboo, typically growing to 3m. The poles grow very straight and tightly together forming a dense screen, each pole will be 3cm in diameter. We recommend planting the bamboos 1m to 1.5m a part. We have organic composts and mulches to really help the plants get off to a good start, after that they will look after themselves. These are really large plants and good value for money. Pets and families are welcome to view mature plants at Bamboo Park, 919 Yandina Coolum Road or talk to Ed on 0456727024. Thank you #cheaperthanbunnings Less

18.01.2022 Good morning everyone Chillies represent the history of the world. Contrary to popular believe, it is not the seeds that are the hottest part of a chilli, but the white pith that surrounds them and runs in thick veins through the pod. Here is a short video of our chillies at Bamboo Park. Enjoy!

17.01.2022 These beauties are called Eucalyptus Microcorys, commonly known as tallowood. A part from being the number one koala food, they are an incredible fast growing gum tree, for shade and timber. They love the wet soils of bamboo park and many places on the sunshine coast. With bamboo windbreaks these guys can grow 3m in 1 year! Reforestation is at our hearts and thats why we try and make our native trees affordable at $8 each. Open all this weekend at 919 Yandina Coolum Road, hope to see you guys soon, thank you

12.01.2022 Tiger Grass bamboo for sale Tiger Grass can be the perfect bamboo alternative, is great as a fast growing screening or feature plant. Originally from Thailand, looks like bamboo but it’s actually a different kind of perennial grass. It grows to around 3-4 meters in height and can be trimmed shorter. The main difference to bamboo is that Tiger Grass does not have branches (it leafs grow straight off the stems) and it has grass flowers at the top each year. With a broad green... leaf 50-100mm wide they are an attractive tropical plant and a thick screen. Tiger Grass has a circular footprint and is extremely quick growing and can be fully grown within 18 24 months. Our plants are already 2 meters high in 200mm pots. $25 each and delivery is available Collect at Bamboo Park, eight minutes from Coolum Beach. Thank you we hope to see you soon

11.01.2022 Thinking of making these today with flowers herbs and veggies from the orchard. Do you think they’d be delicious?

11.01.2022 Thank you again for an awesome weekend! With the weather like this it is the perfect time to be back in the garden. We can't recommend Red Soil Organics top soil enough. Weather it's increasing productivity and soil health in the veggie garden, orchard or indoor house plants, this soil rocks! The soil consists of a blend of clean, fertile river flat topsoil, large doses of wood ash, charcoal and double ground wood mulch that's been sitting in the pile and breaking down for a...bout 2 years. Creating the perfect environment for fungi to colonise and thrive, carbon rich full of base fertility. During the composting process, Red Soils add their unique Morpheus compost blend as well as traditional horned cow's manure, chicken and guinea fowl manure and essential minerals such as palagonite, lime and red volcanic clay. The results speak for themselves, with a top soil which smells amazing, like a rainforest floor and is packed with bacteria and fungi, which massively improve the ability for plants to feed and grow from the soil. At just $18.50 a bag (which can be composted!) it is the fastest and most organic way to transform your garden or farm. Bamboo Park is an ex-sugrcane property and consequently rejuvenating degraded land is something we still work hard at. This is why we rave about Red Soil Organics, as it's perfect for properties on the sunshine coast, whether they are too acidic, too sandy or just need a little helping hand. Come and get your bags off Ed and the team, just 8 mins from Coolum, at 919 Yandina Coolum Road. Thank you and happy gardening
