25.01.2022 The Bambusia is open for dine in starting from tonight, during Covid 19 tables are limited, so please call Richard 93875838 to book you table. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

25.01.2022 CHRISTMAS BREAK!! 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th December The Bambusia is closed for four days for the first time. It would have been most welcoming for we could have planned to go away and enjoy with our extended family as usual, but due to C-19, we only planned a family get together at our home on Christmas Day, all were looking forward to the day, but due to tightened restrictions, 10 adult visitors and unlimited kids was just not enough for us. Even a two day trip to Canberra... is not possible for NSW is not allowed into the ACT. It's been a tough year for all, and just wish 2020 is over, and hopeful 2021 will be a lot easier for everyone, and health is now the most important for us all, please stay safe everyone, and will see you all when the outbreak gets the all clear. Business will be as usual from Tuesday 28th December! STAY SAFE! AND TAKE CARE! Richard, Mei, Adrian and Cassie with the Bambusia Team wishes all a safe and Happy Christmas! Closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Sunday and Monday

24.01.2022 Richard has again made another tough decision, due to the outbreak at two Eastern Suburb Colleges, for the health and safety of everyone and the staff, he is delaying the opening to diners for another week. he was so prepared to open from next Tuesday that he's started to stock up, but since the colleges are so close to the restaurant, he will wait and see until the end of next week. Your understanding and patience is very much appreciated, and he thinks it's better to be safe than sorry, for now take away and home delivery is still available.

18.01.2022 Richard and the team at Bambusia has started serving tables last week, it started off very quiet at the beginning and gradually the talks and laughters filled the dining room, Mei working away in the kitchen could only hear Richard talking non stop, catching up for the lost times, his team just did what they could to serve without him. Besides Richard’s talks, he also had put social distancing in place and rearranged the tables to have less patrons in the house, contact details were recorded, sanitizers for everyone to use, hopefully everyone keeps safe and healthy for when the restrictions are over, so you can all dine in with ease. Richard, Mei and the team sincerely thank you all for all the support you have given us during this time. Once again please stay safes and only go out when you feel good to do so.

17.01.2022 Happy Mother’s Day A very different Mother’s Day this year, it’s all about social distancing, limited visitors per household, but one thing has not changed, love to all Mothers, one day we can all spend our days with loved ones with no restrictions, please keep safe for now. We will see you all dining in when restrictions all lifted, for now we will only be able to serve you wth take always and home delivery.

16.01.2022 The Bambusia will be opened for dining in after the 1st June 2020, we are now working on the maximum number of patrons that’s permitted, due to the floor space, and a time slot to serve you all, regrettably some requests will be restricted until Covid19 is over, we will do our best to accommodate, a maximum of 10 patrons per table, will keep you posted when we will start taking reservations as soon as we can. Richard and the team look forward to see you all again, and thank you for your patience.

08.01.2022 As you all know restaurants and cafes are permitted to open for diners from today, due to the limited patrons that are allowed to dine in, Richard will keep serving take away pick up and delivery, dining in will remain closed. Knowing everyone would love to come in and enjoy themselves, and not be rushed out, it's best to wait for the limit to increase, not an easy decision to make, and a disappointment to us all, hopefully this won't take too long. Richard and his team are thankful for your continued support and understanding.
