24.01.2022 Not something you see every day, not quite sure what you would call a large group of Temporary lighting plants it would be interesting to know. Keep an eye out next time your driving down the motorway or freeway past road works. BAMCOM Electrical carry out pre hire checks for T Light.
12.01.2022 So it feels like October 2020 has been Work Experience month. We have had Ayden riding along with us for the last fortnight. He came to us with a huge amount of cleaning experience, so we had to show him other aspects of the Electrical game like using a hammer to knock in a 6mm wall plug. But he still made the Work Experience wall of fame photo with our vacuum cleaner.
11.01.2022 They say electricity can bite, but so can this not so little fellow. Unfortunately for the customer our slippery mate decided the warmth across a 415v contactor was too nice to ignore and 415volts beats slippery mate every time.
04.01.2022 SPRINGFIELD LAKES AND SURROUNDS UPDATE: Crews have continued working hard around the clock, going door to door (and in a chopper in the air) but the extent of t...he storm damage to homes in the area is far worse than anticipated. We expect nearly 90% of homes cannot be reconnected until their damage is repaired. Our network is back up and running, but we cannot restore power to all properties (including the few that are not damaged) until each damaged home is disconnected from the network. Prematurely restoring supply to homes could create serious and potentially life-threatening electrical and fire hazards. This means our crews and contractors will continue going door to door this evening and from first light tomorrow, however power will not be restored to everyone tonight. We completely understand the frustration this has caused as a result of the damage from the supercell storm, and we thank you for your continued patience.
03.01.2022 If your home has suffered severe roof/structural damage due to the storm, if it is safe to do so (and you're comfortable to do it) switch your home's safety swi...tches off at the meterbox and call a licensed electrical contractor ASAP. An electrical contractor can switch your meterbox off if you're not comfortable doing it. Queensland Police Service Queensland Fire and Emergency Services - QFES See more
