24.01.2022 Something old becoming something new! The historic Plough Inn Hotel in Tarrawingee, getting the Brent A Monro Floor Sanding touch. Such a beautiful floor with a mix of Baltic, Jarrah, Cypress Pine, Murray Pine & Oregon flooring creating a character of worn boards, aged tones, individual spaces and an inviting warmth to enjoy the company of friends and strangers alike. The building is one of the most historic in the area, with a Cobb & Co staging house at the rear of the prop...erty. I'm so proud that we have been able to rejuvenate this magnificent structure, with a second stage yet to be undertaken. Over 150 m2 turned around from start to finish in this stage, inside 4 days, what a huge effort but well worth it. Some days, our job is just breathtaking by the result of our efforts!

23.01.2022 Stage 2 of this job for return customers in Ararat. A mix of Kauri & Baltic pine, it's long overdue to have been given some much needed TLC. This is also the start of our second job for the day, with new machinery also being picked up this morning. Gees it's been a big day at Brent A Monro Floor Sanding!

21.01.2022 What an absolute privilege to be involved with such a prestigious job. The Beehive building is so historically and culturally important to Bendigo & we were incredibly proud to have undertaken this project. With the aim to retain the historical patina to the timber, we employed a few different techniques to achieve the required aesthetic. We couldn't be happier with the results! A massive shout out to my father Alan Monro, who must be given all the credit for every square metre of our work on this project. Without his work, knowledge & perseverance, this outcome would not have been possible.

This is a beautiful coating to apply and even better when it is complete & dry, ready to move in. This is definitely a strong timber for your floor, with an even stronger coating ro protect it. A simple waterbased coating from the top end of the Bona range, supplied by Lagler Australia.
