22.01.2022 Results from the first day of judging at the @officialauspiecomp are in and we are over the moon with the results. The team put in a super effort to make sure our products were the best and the results show. Getting a gold at this competition is not as easy as it may seem. It has taken us 4 years to crack the winning formula and this is very exciting. All the feedback from judges and customers over the years has helped to get our products at an above industry standard. 21.01.2022 The precious cargo of pies and pasties are now on their way to the pie and pastie competition in Sydney. The bakers worked tirelessly over the weekend to make some perfect products. Our entries for this years competition include - Steak Pie/ Pork Mac & Cheese Pie/ Cauliflower & Broccoli Pie/ Tuna Mornay Pie/ Satay Chicken Pie/ Traditional Pastie/ Vegan Pastie & our latest creation the Chicken Tuscan Pastie. 19.01.2022 The final results for @officialauspiecomp are now up. We didn’t manage to win any categories outright this year but we were mighty close. To find ourselves in the top 5 3 times out of the 8 categories we entered shows we are doing something right. All we wanted was to improve on last year’s results and we have well and truly done this. Special thanks to our baking team for putting in the effort and hard work to get these results, special mention to our new apprentice Hennin...g who managed a silver medal for his steak pie in his very first competition. 17.01.2022 Bake day for the last competition of the year the @officialauspiecomp Todays bake saw some of the best pies & sausage rolls we have ever made come out of the oven. Sometimes on bake day things can go pear shaped, you make some average stuff and it’s heartbreaking. Our new chocolate, chorizo, chilli & Venison pies look and taste amazing, Fingers crossed we manage some gold again this year. We have to send product frozen via TNT on Monday and we won’t actually know how we have done until Friday. Wish us luck

16.01.2022 We hope everyone had a great Easter and enjoyed plenty of hot x buns and chocolates over the weekend. We have decided to close tomorrow Tuesday 14th as we are very low on stock and the bakers need another day to rest after the hours they put in last week along with the rest of the Banana Boogie team. 16.01.2022 The bakers have been slightly adjusting and perfecting their recipes this week for the National @baking.australia pie and pastie competition being held in Sydney next week. All entries will be frozen and sent express mail to the competition on Monday where they will be judged against some fierce competition from all over Australia. We will be sending a few different entries this year so be sure to come in and check out whats being sent and give us some feedback.

02.01.2022 All systems are go on the extensions at Belair. We have had a lot of customers asking what is going to happen with this space!?!?! The whole area will be used for baking as in the new year we will be baking for both Belair & North Plympton shops. Eventually our indoor seating area at Belair will increase & by the end of November the landlord will have a lovely outdoor pergola area completed for our customers to enjoy.
