24.01.2022 Good Morning Relayers! Today's the day we've all been waiting for, the commencement of the Banana Shire Relay 2016. Teams can set up from 11am at Magavalis. All vehicles to be off the field by 1pm. Opening ceremony commences at 3pm. See you all for a night of fun and games. 21.01.2022 Attention teams! Shirts have arrived :) Tag a team member that wants their shirts. We would love to have as many as possible there this afternoon! We will be having a brief meeting at 5.30pm tonight at Magavalis to hand out shirts and have a chat with Andrew from the central telegraph who is going to run a story this week on our wonderful event! We would love to see at least one person from each team.

The Relay for Life committee would like to extend a huge thank you to our local sponsors and supporters for the night. 07.01.2022 Hi friends, we have an update on Banana Shire Relay For Life. The event will be taking a break for 2017, and we are looking to host the event in Moura in 2018. In the coming months we will be seeking locals who are interested in joining the volunteer committee. Stay tuned! CCQ is dedicated to its work in the Banana Shire region. We are here to support all locals affected by cancer. This includes offering services like counselling, our 13 11 20 information and support line, and financial and practical support for those affected. If you have any questions about Relay, please don’t hesitate to contact your local Cancer Council Queensland office in Rockhampton on 07 4932 8600.
