19.01.2022 A few photos of what went down yesterday at the Garage. Make sure to read our last post for the full story

19.01.2022 Its been a bit quiet for a while as all the guys that run the garage have had other life stuff going on but we've finally began work on the band-aid 300! Unfortunately the car was driven during the floods earlier this year and it sucked up a bunch of water, killing the motor. Fortunately a new heart has been found and we're well on the way to getting it in! The old motor and gearbox is out. Cleanup of the engine bay will begin soon and more insulation will be added to the wiring loom to prolong its life. The manual conversion will be added in with the new motor and hopefully it will be running again and out on the roads within the coming weeks.

17.01.2022 I suppose we are overdue for an update? Massive day yesterday spent removing front bumpers, more automotive archeology and doing suspension work... Work on the blue lude continued, the front lights, fog lights and corner indicators all had to come off to get access to the reo bar. Of course not all was smooth sailing with a few rusted screws stripped and Honda's hidden bolts proved to be a bit of a puzzle. Nonetheless the reo bar was finally transferred from the blue lude to ...the VTI-R. Work on the 6 also continued with more automotive archeology which turned up a mixed bag of emotions for Bc Mazda. Good first: the car came with decent speakers, Alpine Type S up front and Cadience in the rears, the bad: well its going to need door cards as these ones are pretty much destroyed. More work went down on the intake plenum, but the ever infamous bitch bolt still holds on for dear life while we find the damn thing! Oh wait we aren't finished... Late into the night the lowered springs were ripped from their prison (Mitsubishi Mirage) to make more $$$ to fix the 6 (any takers?) And in true Band-Aid Garage style, we hit pancake manor at 3 am! A separate post will be made to show update photos.

14.01.2022 Doing some pre mountains prep on the band-aid corrolla. Brake pads were getting low so we're installing some new QFM A1RM Pads before heading out for a night on the mountain!

14.01.2022 We took the prelude in for a wheel allignment at Bob Jane in Toombul ~ it came back perfect. Highly recommend these guys if you want yours done properly for an awesome price! Another image by Dyllan Richardson!

13.01.2022 So after a few swear words and a long day in the heat the MX6 is alive! She starts and runs quite well, some minor tweaks here and there needed but works nonetheless. All she needs is a good service and then work begins on the interior!

11.01.2022 Few maaaaad videos from last night

10.01.2022 So it was a great night out at the drags. we had 2 cars from the garage go out. Obviously the prelude was out and about, but one of the regulars here at the garage owns an Audi A4 Quattro. It was suprising as to how close it was with it being a constant back and fourth between the audi and the honda. We got in around 7 runs all up per car. The little honda handled itself quite well and has stood up to the punishment dealt to it after its repairs. It needs a wheel allignment, new tires and some fresh paint before it goes back home for good. and if we get our way, a couple of upgrades too! Stay tuned for more updates!

06.01.2022 So we picked the Prelude up from paint a couple of days ago now and we're quite impressed with the result. We got a damn near perfect job for an absolutely stunning price! I cannot recommend the boys at LOW.CO Customs any higher ~ they will take care of you! Image by Dyllan Richardson.

05.01.2022 we've been working hard over the last little while to get the band-aid 300 finished. it was supposed to be a simple swap but we decided to do everything right and take our time, making it all factory fresh. The replacement gearbox and engine are in, its manual now whereas it used to be auto. new wiring. we disassembled everything and cleaned absolutely everything. Theres still a few things left to do but we're pretty happy to say that the "Hell Zed" (as we went through hell with a number of things) will be coming to a road near you in the very near future.

04.01.2022 Spending Thursday night shinanigins buryied in the lude fitting some awesome new mtx speakers and tweeters My girl having fun ripping out the doors and interior Mmm dat ass XD

01.01.2022 Its been a busy time for us at the garage, the mx6 is nearing completion with there being only a few small things left before it sees the road. The Prelude is in the paint shop (there should be an update on that very soon). The band aid 300zx has had no progress made. We added another car two cars to the band-aid fleet recently. A red 300zx and a twin turbo 300zx. The red one has a hydrolocked motor all thanks to the recent floods and the twin turbo was bought originally to donate its engine to the little red one, however it is now being used to replace the red one. Expect some updates soon on these cars!

01.01.2022 Been a busy week for all of us here at the garage. we finally got some time to work on the honda which had an unfortunate incident with a guardrail a little over a month ago. Today marks an important day for Joel as today is the day the prelude is finally repaired well enough to be driven on the roads again. tonight it will undergo trial by fire at the drags. if we get any photos of it later tonight we'll be sure to post an update later with them!
