17.01.2022 IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to the current state of confusion, we believe it's prudent to postpone the Bangalow Billycart Derby until later in the year. So ... In consultation with the Bangalow Public School P&C and Byron Shire Council our new date for the derby isset for Sunday 20th September 2020. ... 01.01.2022 #UPDATE Unfortunately, it will probably come as no surprise to you that we've had to make the difficult decision to cancel the postponed Bangalow Billycart Derby 2020 event. We moved it from May to September, in the hopes that all would be fine in the world, but alas, Covid-19 and the risks to the local community are just too great, plus the rules around social distancing must be adhered to, and we don't know what those will be in September. ... Please keep an eye on our page for 2021 as we hope to be back with all the thrills and spills that the annual Bangalow Billycart Derby brings to our town. Let us know in the comments what you'll miss most about not being part of this event this year. We wish for a better end to 2020 for all.
