24.01.2022 Outdoor classes what, when where? Register your interest for outdoor classes 3 x morning per week. Starting Monday 18 May at 9:30 at Bruns Sports grounds. 10 people per training session. We will supply the hand sanitiser, the social distancing, the motivation and the moves.... You just need to register your interest, bring towel, mat and water bottle. Just message or email us.

20.01.2022 Overnight Oats A favourite of mine, prep them the night before with: - 1/2 cups Oats - Half a banana ... - Tbsp of Greek Yoghurt - Pinch of cinnamon - Wee but if water for the Oats to soak Leave this in the fridge, in a jar, covered or in an airtight container, the oats will soak up the yogurt and water and breakfast is waiting for you then you wake up/or after a workout So many different ideas out there for things you can add to them- peanut butter, choc chips and apple!

19.01.2022 *** We can reopen*** In light of news Bruns and Bangalow gym will aim to re-open as of Saturday the 13th of June!! As of June 13, people living in NSW will be able to return to their local gyms with fitness classes capped at 10 people and 100 people per venue.... Gymnasiums, yoga, indoor pools and dance studios can reopen within a fortnight and kids' sport can resume across NSW from 1 July, as more COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.

13.01.2022 HEALTHY TERIYAKI STIR FRY Recipe: 1/4 cup of honey. 2 TBSP minced ginger.... 1/3 cup water 1/3 cup soy sauce/tamari/ cocunt aminos. 2 TBSP corn starch OR flour. cook on a saucepan for 5 mins and that’s your sauce done!! I sauteed some onions, garlic and carrots in a non stick pan for 5 mins, added chopped chicken breast until cooked,lastly added steamed broccoli and the sauce back in. Cook until heated through! I added this to some stead rice, garnish with sesame seeds and chilli flakes!

This means eating the rainbow!... Ensuring we are getting all the nutrients from different sources..(our antioxidants) to help fight off any bugs we may encounter in these times. I find the easiest ways to do this, is either by chucking a whole heap of Vegetables with chicken or fish in a nourish bowl with rice or stir fry Any questions or idea for meals, feel free to flick us a message!

09.01.2022 NSW is the only state that has not set a date for gyms to reopen. NSW has announce for beauty salons, cafes, restaurants, libraries, art galleries and gaming and has pushed for interstate travel while not allowing gyms to reopen saying it's too risky. Cases of covid-19 have been discovered and spread through travel, restaurants, public venues even schools but no known cases at gyms. NSW is allowing the opening of pubs and clubs which were identified for stage 3 while not allowing gyms to open which were suppose to open in stage 2. This doesn't make sense and if you want to see gyms reopen please sign the petition below.

08.01.2022 ****CHANGES TO 24 HOUR ACCESS*** NSW Government announced new Covid-19 restrictions that will apply from 8pm Friday 31 July. These restrictions will only affect after hours 24 hours access. Please see below our new extended opening hours: Monday to Friday - 5.30am to 12:00; 3-7pm... Saturday 7am -12pm Sunday - 8am to 11am So What’s Changing? As a result of new government restrictions unfortunately, Bangalow Gym will temporarily suspend 24 hour access. You still get everything the gym has to offer Our Services that you love have not changed Group Fitness classes Cardio and strength equipment Brunswick Gym The only thing that is changing is that you’ll get to see our lovely faces more often There will be a COVID Marshall at the gym during all our opening hours. Members will not be able to access the gym out of the above hours, even with a tag. The COVID Marshall will enforce government rules and the gym’s COVID safety plan. With these new government restriction Bangalow gym is doing our best to maintain members routines. We appreciate your understanding in this matter and your support. Thank you for all of your understanding and together we will get through this.

In a nutshell: If the primary goal is to increase aerobic endurance or lose weight, then you should perform cardiovascular exercise first. Obviously, this is one very important system, and keeping it healthy will have a big impact on the body’s health and overall function. Without muscle movement, the lymphatic system cannot move lymph as efficiently and, therefore, cannot do its very important jobs. Skipping, a low-impact exercise, increases lymph flow. Better circulation means better cell health.
