A team of UNSW researchers took videos of what happens when you talk, cough and sneeze in different scenarios while not wearing a mask, wearing two different types of cloth masks, or wearing a surgical mask. https://newsroom.unsw.edu.au/how-different-types-mask-work-

05.01.2022 The new realities of working from home, temporary unemployment, home-schooling of children, and lack of physical contact with other family members, friends and colleagues take time to get used to. Adapting to lifestyle changes such as these, and managing the fear of contracting the virus and worry about people close to us who are particularly vulnerable, are challenging for all of us. They can be particularly difficult for people with mental health conditions. Fortunately, there are lots of things that we can do to look after our own mental health and to help others who may need some extra support and care. Talk to one of our GPs. We can do this together !

03.01.2022 Even in a pandemic, continue with routine health care and don’t ignore a medical emergency. if you’re someone with a chronic health condition, it’s essential you continue to seek medical care routinely, and especially in an emergency. Delaying or avoiding necessary medical care could lead to preventable deaths. In Australia, we are more likely to die from NON-COVID 19 causes. Make sure we seek help for our chronic and other health needs.

01.01.2022 Wearing a mask can help protect you and those around you if you are in an area with community transmission, and physical distancing is not possible, like on public transport. Learn to wear mask properly and correctly. Keep your hands clean. The mask needs to cover your nose, mouth and chin completely. Never ever pull your mask down to your neck area even if you need to speak or eat.
