25.01.2022 Hello to everyone and hope you caught a little rain, possibly good news on the rainfall front for the rest of the week. In the event that we do get some rain, with summer rain comes the unwanted germination of summer weeds, that are mostly unpalatable, and they take valuable nutrients that are needed for our feed. Some examples are Afghan and paddy melons, deadly nightshade, caltrop which is a really bad one, and fleabane. We are available to help deal with them all and this is the time of year to look at soil sampling, a valuable tool in knowing what your soil is lacking. Banjo Contracting is here to help with setting up for your winter pasture. Cheers and thanks for your support

25.01.2022 Morning everyone, we hope everyone is going along ok in these times of difficulty and turmoil. We’ve been doing a lot of maintenance and a few modifications to the planter. Great to see so many people planning their pasture planting and I’m looking forward to getting it all started, looks like things will start to turn after Easter. 16.01.2022 Morning everyone, just a reminder to check your paddocks for unwanted weeds, especially Caltrop. This a nasty spreading plant that grows at an amazing rate, producing seeds that break into 5 segments,each one with a really sharp point. Dogs paws, carpet, horses trying to lie down and lawns are fair game. If your unsure give me a call.

08.01.2022 Morning everyone, I hope you all got some rain and not too much washing. The pasture planting will start in earnest next week so I’m looking forward to seeing People’s places nice and green with a bulk of pasture. Also I hope that everyone is ok after all this Covid19 thing that been going on, it is so nice to see all the Facebook posts and messages from people reaching out to offer help to one another. Please remember as green tasty shoots come through this is a major time for Colic in horses, the grains of sand stick to the roots of the plant as they are pulled out at this early stage, keep the fibre up to keep the gut active.
