24.01.2022 Playing 3 sets with Doc and the Delegates Tonight at the Clarendon. So come check out some bluegrass-ish music by a pack of colour coordinated shifty gypsies. Gig starts at 530.

23.01.2022 My daughter shes recently taken up clarinet, her second instrument (flute being her first). Shes smashing it on the day the she got it she figure out how to play 6 notes and 2 songs. Super proud.

20.01.2022 My beautiful wife and I on the night of our wedding. We had it in our backyard. It rained the entire morning of but right at the last minute the sun came out. My bands Doc & the Delegates and Banjo Beats played. That evening I made my vocal debut and sang her a one of her favourite songs. Not the strongest vocal performance but I managed to get most of the words out of my mouth. Later in the night we sang a duet together then she lead Doc in a raucous bluesy set of her brothers songs. She killed it. The girl can get some real mongrel in her voice. The day was pretty much perfect. Were pretty much one of those disgusting couples that can be heavy on the pda, finish each other sentences and write sappy posts on social media. I love her so much. I apologise for the long sappy post.

17.01.2022 Doc & the Delegates are playing 2 sets at Customs House tonight. Unfortunately winter is upon us and its too cold for my daisy dukes. But I can promise that the lack of skippy outfits will be made up with an inappropriate amount of banjo. We start at 8pm. Pic by my wife at Gumball Music Festival earlier this year. .

12.01.2022 Playing 2 sets with Pocket Jazz at NIMA. Ill be putting on my big boy jazz pants on and doing some serious walking on my bass. Doors open 730.

11.01.2022 Playing around with ideas for a break for Roll in my Sweet Babys Arms. My playing isnt as clean as Id like it to be so Ive been doing alot of metronome work lately. Not fun practice but its the musical equivalent of eating your vegetables.
