13.01.2022 Eleven years ago, filmmaker Lara Damiani read an article by Walkey Award Winning journalist Lindsay Murdoch in The Age about Banjo Petyarre Morton. This was the inspiration that lead to a meeting with Banjo and some of his family out at Awerreng (Honeymoon Bore) that started the process of what has become an exciting multimedia resource that will honour the legacy of Banjo and his story. We look forward to releasing the launch date soon !

06.01.2022 So close......so close to launching a project that’s been more than 10 years in the making and one that honours the legacy of Alyawarra man Banjo Petyarre Morto...n. A man whose story I first learned in 2010 and one I was compelled to share. This interactive website - linked to the Australian curriculum- will be an educational resource for Australian schools so that Banjo’s story can become part of Australia’s history and a lens into a wide range of other stories that for too long our schools have ignored. Can’t wait to share this soon! #comingsoon2021 #comingsoon.
