25.01.2022 Oh what a fab picnic ceilidh we had today! Thank you to all of our families and dancers. Photos to come!

24.01.2022 Miss Ceilidh and I attending a midnight zoom meeting, launching the new National book. It’s wonderful seeing so many friends from all over the world. 210 participants on this meeting and there is a repeat meeting in 6 hours time, for other time zones.

23.01.2022 End of term fun!! Taking up the SDAA OLD DANCES CHALLENGE for September with a contemporary version of Tribute to JL McKenzie to the fabulous ‘Spoonful of Sugar’ from Mary Poppins!! We almost ran out of September so the dance was learnt by Elisha, Amelia, Naya and Talitha in about 40mins all up over two classes & then videoed at the end of today’s lesson! Well done girls and thanks Miss Ceilidh!

21.01.2022 Birthday Happies this week! Talitha turns the big 21 tomorrow and Annika turned 8 yesterday! Happy Birthday, Girls!!!!

21.01.2022 Happy Father’s Day to all the Dancing Daddy’s. Especially my amazing dad, Les Banks. Always the first to volunteer at dancing competitions and fundraising events. Our ‘door man’ at most Sydney comps. Have a great day dads!

14.01.2022 Every Wednesday since lockdown began back in March Miss Darcy has been giving a zoom lesson to 6 year old Heidi. When classes returned Heidi asked her mum if she could continue having her zoom private lesson with Miss Darcy as well as her face to face class at Five Dock. Throughout that time Miss 6 has learnt the entire Flora - virtually!! Miss Darcy is sooo proud of Heidi and wanted to acknowledge her amazing hard work. In turn, I want to acknowledge 16yo Darcy, who is a ...fantastic student teacher and turning into an amazing associate teacher. She builds such a great rapport with the students and is developing great flexible teaching strategies, depending on what and who she is working with. Well done to both of you! Miss J See more
