14.01.2022 It’s with mixed feelings we lock up the shop tonight. I’m forever grateful for my amazing, reliable & supportive staff who are more like family. Kate, Nat, Gab, Cammy & Tayla have all worked so hard to create such a fun & positive place to call ‘work’. Thank you so much! . . . If we all do the right thing we will get through this together & come back stronger from the experience. . . . To all our regulars thanks for supporting us throughout the year during these tricky times.... Also to our suppliers of coffee, food, plants, milk the list goes on. . . . We literally just moved approximately 500 plants from the shop to our home so this week will be all about family & plant maintenance! . . . Once more - thanks to each & every person who is doing their bit to get on top of this. We’ll see you soon. . . . So much & - Tim . . . @kate_j1983 @nat_broham @gabby_wilson @cammmybeavis @_tayladelean @sublime.dan @dotchocolate @fleurieu_milk_company @biemond_nurseries See more

13.01.2022 Finally got around to wall mounting our handmade water propagation station! 36 little plant babies happily starting their new growth journey in style. Water propagation is such a fun activity and it's amazing watching the little roots grow, eventually turning into brand new little plants. Tips for water propagation... Refresh the water when it starts to get dirty. Remove leaves from the stem that will sit under the water surface. Leaves can tend to rot when left in water for long periods. Ensure that your cutting has grown a nice big root ball before transferring into soil. Remember, the root system must be able to sustain all the growth on top. Be patient. It isn't a quick process, but it is rewarding! You can expect your cutting to happily live in water for many months before being mature enough to transfer to soil (if that is in fact what you want to do! Otherwise, keep in water)

13.01.2022 But first... let me take a shelfie

12.01.2022 We've finally got our hands on some pot stands! Available in 2 different heights and colours, these quality solid pot stands come with a removable plate that securely sits on the top. This enables you to sit your chosen pot on top of the stand if it doesn't quite fit within the top rim as shown here. Plant stands enable you to have smaller and shorter plants as a standing feature off the ground and look fabulous in corners or next to buffets or cabinets

11.01.2022 While all you fabulous humans have been busy supporting your favourite local coffee shop (that's us) we have been busy working out more ways we can support our fellow local producers. Now on top of having all our delicious goodies made by @dotchocolate a stone's throw away in Seacliff, we have now made the change to @fleurieu_milk_company . The milk simply tastes better and now we can feel good with every sip knowing we are doing our bit to help support our South Aussie farmers. *Photo credit Fleurieu Milk Company Instagram.
