24.01.2022 This term at Banksia Gardens we are running a FREE Computer Coding course for young people aged 15 to 25 who have recently arrived in Australia. The course will be delivered by Computer Scientist, Sebastian Sardina, a Senior Research Fellow at RMIT University. The program is perfect for young people wanting to learn computer programming skills and pursue a career in IT! See the flyer for more information!

This sector works at the grassroots of our community to t...rain Victorians in the foundation skills they need to get a job or undertake further training. Put simply - Learn Locals change lives. We recognised the vital contribution they make to our training system - thats why I announced an extra $5 million in funding for literacy, numeracy and language training, as well as more support for teachers. We need a training system that supports all Victorians, training at all levels, to get the skills they need to get a job.
