02.01.2022 As our community is already aware, it is with great sadness that we farewell our Principal Mr Terry Spratt this term. Mr Spratt will be retiring from an amazing 38 year career with the NSW Department of Education. The Bankstown Public School community would not be the dynamic, joyful and inspirational place that it is, without Mr Spratts tireless commitment to best practice in education. Last week the professional community came together to honour Mr Spratt, and the evening was spent celebrating his decades of service and the many, many lives that he has positively impacted as an educator. Wonderful speeches were given by many people, including our Deputy Principals Ms Julianne Lye and Mr Luke Simmonds. We wish Mr Spratt all the very best in the next chapter of his life. He will be sorely missed by staff, families and students alike!
