25.01.2022 SPECTATOR RULES Good evening everyone, Please be advised of the following restrictions for Saturday games:... - One spectator per player only for all morning games (if siblings need to be at the games, they are to remain alongside their parent/guardian at the court) - There are to be no spectators in the afternoon time slots (excluding managers/coaches and scorers) if players are unable to arrange for alternate carers for their children, they must remain seated court side - If you have children playing at the same time, you are not able to cross zones during the game - Spectators must continue to social distance and sign in at the games BCNA have advised that if there are too many spectators on the sidelines, they will suspend play until the spectator limit is not exceeded. NSW Health Department may also be at Deverall Park and will issue on the spot fines for those that are not following the COVID-19 safety rules. We kindly ask that you abide by these rules and understand that the above is not ideal, but we appreciate your ongoing support this season. If there are any questions, please let the club Executive know. Thank you and we will see you at the park tomorrow. Ashleigh (on behalf of the BSNC Executive)

16.01.2022 Hi All, As you know on 4th August 2020 there was a massive explosion that rocked Beirut. The explosion was the third largest after Hiroshima and Nagasaki causing a catastrophic, humanitarian, economic and public health crisis. The explosion caused at least 177 deaths, 6,000 injuries, US$1015 billion in property damage, and left an estimated 300,000 people homeless. Many of us have family and friends that have been left devastated by this tragedy and if we do not know anyon...e directly, this disaster impacted us all in some way or another and Bankstown Sports Netball Club would like to show our support to those affected. We will be setting up collection boxes at training on Wednesdays and at our club tent on Saturdays, for those that would like to contribute, there is a list of suggested items attached. If anyone would prefer to financially contribute, please visit the Basics for Beirut website https://basicsforbeirut.com We would really appreciate everyone's generosity, during this difficult time and if anyone has any suggestions or ways that we are able to help support this cause, please let us know.

03.01.2022 WERE BACK Good afternoon everyone, In case you havent seen or heard the news yet, all ages community sport has been given the State Government approval to resume on 1st July. (Attached is Netball NSW update)... At this stage, we as an executive and committee have been working tirelessly on a plan for us all to return to training and Saturday netball. With this in mind, there are still government restrictions with the amount of people allowed at training as well as what Saturday netball will look like for our club. As soon as we have finalised our strategy, we will be sharing it with you all. This means that there will be certain requirements that we as a club need to adhere to, but I have every bit of confidence in all of our members that we will comply with what is required of us. At this stage, depending on the directive of BCNA, competition will be resuming on 18th July. We will have more information from BCNA after their council meeting next week and I am anticipating that we will be back at training pretty soon. Personally, I am pretty excited to share this wonderful news with you all today and I cant wait to see everyone back at training and to finally put my uniform back on. If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. See you all soon, Ashleigh (President) https://nsw.netball.com.au//netball-nsw-prepares-july-1-re
