22.01.2022 Thank You JOGI! With the conclusion of what has been a weird season upon us, we prepare to farewell our most capped first grade player Jovan Miladinovic. For those who may not know Jogi was the first ever first grader signed by the club in late 2015. ... Our club had just been born. We had just entered the FNSW competitions and we were a completely unknown quantity. We were looking for a sense of validation, a statement to say we had arrived. Up stepped Jovan, a veteran NPL2 player who was willing to put his name along side the club as we tried to find our feet. We had our marque signing, and with that the conversations with other players becoming much simpler. Signings such as Steve Wright, Mat Harrison & Tommy Markovski were all a little simpler once they knew we had a player of Jogis class amongst us. Jovan became our midfield maestro and helped orchestra, 4 finals berths, 2 Premierships and the most important of them all Promotion. Jovan has worn his favourite #7 jerseys in 91 premiership games over the past 5 years and leaves big shoes to fill for the next the player to wear the famous #7. With our last home game of the season this evening, Jogi wear the armband and lead the boys out one last time. Join us in thanking Jogi for helping our club on the map, and being one of the foundations that makes the club what it is today. Jovan, from the club we could not thank you enough, youre a gentlemen and will always have a major part in our history. You will always be welcome at our club, and cant wait to see Jogi Jnr don the same green and gold his father so proudly has worn over the past 5 years in the future. So get down to Jensen at 7pm this evening and join us in thanking this legend.
