25.01.2022 parkrun as we know it may not exist in Australia at the moment but this is the next best thing.

25.01.2022 3 more sleeps until Look at us all shiny and clean, ready for Saturday. Please remember hand hygiene.... Wash with soap and water before coming to parkrun and if possible bring your own personal hand sanitiser to use afterwards.

24.01.2022 Eventually we will all be back at parkrun. Keep your mind and body happy by getting out in the fresh air. Go for a walk or if still fit enough a 5km run.

24.01.2022 Update on parkrun cancellations Dear all, Today’s update is to notify you that all parkrun events will now continue to be suspended until at least the end of April. This is in order to keep all parkrun countries following the same timeline for the moment, although we do expect suspensions to go beyond April. Since deciding to close our events we have been working incredibly hard to action that decision, understand the implications of making it, and provide immediate support ...to parkrun communities around the world. And, with all events suspended, we are now able to begin work developing our strategy for supporting our communities during this difficult time and, one day, re-launching. Going forward we will be publishing a global parkrun update every Tuesday (UK time), on the parkrun.com news page. We will get through this, together.

08.01.2022 No running on parkrun day has been difficult for some of us, so here is a trip down memory lane. Event #1

06.01.2022 4 more sleeps until It is important that all of our participants understand the requirements that have been put in place to allow us to run a COVID-Safe event. Please take the time to familiarise yourself with the attached code for volunteers and code for walkers and runners.... Hand sanitiser will be available for volunteers on the day and all volunteer vests and tokens will be washed after each event. We will make every effort for essential equipment to be handled as little as possible.

RED ALERT We are asking that all participants coming from Bannockburn now travel to parkrun via Harvey Road and turn right into the red gravel road that will be marked with our parkrun flag, unfortunately this road appears to have no name. It is also marked with a brown tourist sign saying Bannockburn parkrun.... Those that need to use Old Base Road you are reminded that this is a corrugated gravel surface and you need to slow down to reduce noise, dust and colliding with wildlife. See more
