16.01.2022 What a great workshop we had at Mayfield Garden yesterday. Four clever ladies made lovely salad bowls and plates with only one lesson. The atmosphere at Mayfield provided inspiration for the decoration of the pieces. The feast at lunch time was fantastic. I can recommend it for any special occasion.

14.01.2022 Holiday is over - classes will restart on Sunday 4th February, 2pm to 4 pm. As I have been inundated with requests for classes, please let me know if you will be coming on that Sunday. Cost is $20 per session, $2.50 per kilo of clay as usual. Firings and materials extra. Cheers, Louise.

12.01.2022 Clay Gulgong is a fabulous ceramic conference right here in the central west and I will be attending for the full week of events. As I will be leaving for Gulgong at 1pm on Sunday15th, my Sunday class will only run for the morning session, 10am to 12noon. I will return on Sunday morning 22nd April and the only class for that day will be the 2.00pm to 4.00 pm session. Will have lots of pics and stories to tell of the week's conference. See you all then.

11.01.2022 Looking forward to moving into. My new house very soon..... Maybe 2 weeks Just outside my kiln shed.

10.01.2022 Some lovely results came out of the recent sawdust firing experience. So, now, after washing and drying the pots, I have put beeswax polish on them and buffed them up to be shiny and silky to touch. So here are some pics. We will be doing more of these next year when classes resume.

09.01.2022 Just take a look at my students achievements at this weekend's Royal Bathurst Show. Winners are grinners, but you couldn't take the grin off MY face for ages! Good on you ladies.

08.01.2022 I still have a lot of lovely pots in my home gallery for sale. Come along and pick up a bargain for yourself or for gifts. Nothing over $20. Most prices are $5 and $10 with some littlies for $2 and $3. Best to phone first 0400 130 792. Weekdays and early evenings ok.

07.01.2022 All those clever ladies who attended the Mayfield workshop can now come and collect their FINISHED pots. Best time to collect will be Sunday as I will be at the Artisan Market (in the rain) on Saturday. Gorgeous goodies to collect!

07.01.2022 A little bit of Whimsey entered my mind. Disappointed at the not very long lasting fresh flowers I have been buying lately, I decided to make myself this delightful little bunch.

05.01.2022 Next Sunday, being Easter Sunday, my classes will not be on. It is a day for families to get together to celebrate Easter and try not to eat toooo many eggs. Classes will resume on Sunday 8th April. And... students have entered their works in the Royal Bathurst Show. Lovely stuff so check it out.

05.01.2022 I thought we could have a go at some monoprints on clay slabs this weekend. Make some lovely printed platters or even a jug or vase. Can be done by newbees.

03.01.2022 Ok, so it rained yesterday. Yay! Still, we packed the sawdust kiln anyway - some packing in the morning and the rest in the afternoon while it rained even harder. Of course, I will wait until a dry day happens before I set it alight. So the reveal will happen on Saturday afternoon at 2pm ( not Fathers' day Sunday) so please come to see the results. The reveal will be followed by an info session about clays and glazes and colours. Then we can all have a pleasant Fathers' Day on the Sunday.

02.01.2022 A lovely new gallery recently opened in Bathurst. Joyette Swain's white gallery has just opened to display her very creative artwork and photography. Open only by appointment, and set in her heritage home and gorgeous garden. So give her a call on 0405 456 278 and go and have a look.
