04.01.2022 2020 has been a very exhilarating year for Bantu. With an uproar of the Black Lives Matter movement and supporting local businesses which are black owned, Australian made, slow fashion... this has provided a wonderful platform for my label Bantu. I decided to open my first pop-up shop in a pandemic which was a risk but has been the best business decision for my label that I have made this year! I have gotten to know new customers, made new friendships, as well as receiving... lovely images and much appreciated messages. The best of it all has been seeing people’s faces with wide smiles when they see a label in a major shopping centre offering very unique, bespoke garments.
