02.01.2022 Hi All, Hope this finds you safe and well. This year as a club will be following on with our tradition of organising a wreath to be laid in recognition of our ANZACS that’s representative of all 3 Banyule Football and Cricket clubs. ... Even though there is no formal ANZAC gathering this year, we will be laying a wreath at the Heidelberg memorial this Saturday morning, and ask that all our members and supporters who can, take some time at dawn wherever you may be, to reflect on the sacrifices of the men and women who helped, and continue to help protect this great country we call home. Along with this, our Board of Management have today organised flowers to be sent to the Heidelberg Police station, to pay our respects to the officers that lost their lives tragically late yesterday afternoon in Melbourne. The entire Banyule Football Club community send our thoughts and prayers to both the families that have lost loved ones, and all members of the Victorian Police Force whom have lost their close friends and colleagues. Anthony Kayrooz President Banyule Senior Football Club
