15.01.2022 Yes it is! Our bodies are evolutionarily designed to give birth. When the time comes, woman instinctively know what to do........so dont doubt yourself. There are plenty of online birthing classes around that can answer any questions you have in advance and this is worthwhile doing so you are somewhat prepared for the big day.

14.01.2022 Well it was for me! Anyone else? I thought it was a natural thing and that it would just happen. Nope, that was not the case. In the beginning it was painful and something I dreaded and I couldnt see how I was going to last the distance - any distance. But I got some help quite early on and it all worked out. I was happy and so were my bubs.... So the key here is to know that for some mums, its not easy - in fact can be incredibly difficult. Get some help early on. You can reach out to midwives, to lactation consultants, to your local maternal health nurse or organisations like @tresillianbaby and the Australian Breastfeeding Association. They all offer great tools, helplines and online consultations and are a critical component of breastfeeding support. Breastfeeding has many benefits, but you are not alone if you are have difficulties and you need to seek support to get started and to sustain it.
