19.01.2022 It was a shock to have their leader get down on his knees to serve them this way. Charlene Delos Santos explains that when we choose to serve the least among ...us, it can make us feel uncomfortable and vulnerable. But Jesus shows us that servanthood is what it looks like to love others. It is at the heart of what life is all about. https://www.commongrace.org.au/jesus_justice_thepowerofvuln See more

05.01.2022 Last week, as we celebrated the achievements of women, Rev Daniel Bullock reminded us that as followers of Jesus we are called to bring peace, welcome the stranger, love at all times and care for those who are oppressed and vulnerable - and based on recent news, we think of those who have or are experiencing domestic or family violence. As Christians leaders and as churches, we need to advocate for women’s safety and find ways to protect women and children in danger of famil...y violence. We desire to follow Jesus' example and model for equal, loving, and mutual human relationships. But sadly, there have been many times when we, as the church, have not done this but rather, have let women and children down, sometimes even putting them at risk through disbelief, by minimising the victim’s experience, by staying silent or even by encouraging victims to stay in an unsafe situation. We must do better. Watch Daniel's video below and click here to read more and access resources: https://www.buv.com.au/news/iwd-and-family-violence/
