23.01.2022 Ciao amici, we hope you’re all staying safe and well -- hopefully sooner rather than later we’ll all be eating together again, but until then we’d like to offer free delivery* as we transition away from using external delivery services. It’s been heartbreaking for us to prepare the food you love with our utmost care and with the freshest ingredients, only for external delivery services to deliver the food to our customer’s doors up to an hour after it has been picked up from ...us. It’s not been fair on us or you. No one deserves to eat cold pizza! So, hopefully we can do a better job doing it ourselves. As you know, we’re a small family run business, and we’re learning as we go, so we’ll be trialing this free delivery service for the foreseeable future (it’s hard to plan too far ahead at the moment!) 18.01.2022 And so we’ve reached stage 4. It’s been tough for everyone, and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank each and every single one of you who have supported Bar Novanta during this time. Nothing makes us happier than the look on our regulars’ faces when they come in for their favourite pizza, or seeing a new face come back again to try that pasta they now cannot live without. ... Unfortunately, for now, we’ll have to wait to eat together again, but for the duration of this lockdown, we will remain open for takeaway via Uber Eats delivery or pick-up by 7.45pm (before 8pm curfew). Uber Eats has informed us that they will continue to be making deliveries after the 8pm curfew, so if you’re using the app, deliveries will also be available after 8pm. For our friends and family who are within a 5km radius, business as usual (or as close to usual in the time of COVID). If you live further away, unfortunately pick-up won’t be available to you, but Uber Eats might be the best way is to check the Uber Eats app. Things are changing quickly, so this will be the plan going forward, but we’ll keep you all updated. These are strange difficult times we’re living in, but us Melbournians are a strong bunch! Daje ragazzi we can do this! We’ll get through this together

During lockdown, we’ve been busy experimenting with the menu, and we’re so excited for you to try our brand new creations, like these squid ink ravioli with a delicate prawn and calamari filling (you HAVE to try. Oh my god) There’s a lot more that’s new and exciting on the menu, and we’re so excited to see you all again.... We’re going to continue to take all the right precautions to maximise everyone’s safety so you can enjoy your meal with peace of mind.
