03.01.2022 New laws passed on 457 temporary Visa system not only to protect local jobs but also to protect overseas visa holders from exploitation from employers. The law guarantees that the same pay and conditions applies to the overseas 457 workers as well as local workers. If a 457 visa holder lost their job they will have 90 days after their visa ceased to look for another job or arrange for their family affairs if they are moving back home.
