04.01.2022 LOW BACK PAIN Low back pain causes more global disability than any other Musculoskeletal condition and many of us will have suffered an episode of low back pain in the past. One cause of low back pain is a bulging disc.... There are 3 activities in our daily lives that increase the risk of a disc bulge especially when they are repeated, forceful or prolonged: - Bending forward - Sitting down - Lifting (especially when twisting at the same time) This CT scan image shows what a herniated disc looks like at L5/S1 - luckily this patient made a full recovery with the help of our Physio's! For any questions or advice regarding posture or low back pain - please get in touch with our team today!
