17.01.2022 A few action shots from our RE: CONNECT event in Brisbane this past weekend in support of the @jackreedfoundation I went a bit out there with this one trying to showcase creativity and precision. Firstly I went in with a high skin fade to disconnect the top from bottom. On top I initially used a line technique then used round graduation to bevel the line. Coupled up with some triangular internal layering. I always love pushing the boundaries of what barbering really is when...ever I get the chance. Moving forward I can really feel men’s hair becoming a beautiful extension of hairdressing. Modern men’s hair is our angle @area_academy @theoreweti Model: @im.seani

16.01.2022 What an incredible line-up we have for you Sydney In 2021 we are getting the Australian hair community back together by bringing our fundraisers for the Jack Reed Foundation on the road & we are super excited about it! For this non-profit event we have teamed up with Jameson Whiskey, Atomic Beer Project, Andis Clippers, Osaka Scissors, The Cutthroat Journal, Barber Brands International, Proraso, Salon Cosmetics & Barber Strong to throw a fun, interactive evening of networ...king & haircutting for the Sydney hair community. Our aim is to raise much needed funds that will help people less fortunate than us start & maintain a career in our beautiful industry of hair. In Sydney we are lucky enough to have the amazing HQ of Geedup Supply as our event space. To the guest artists, everyone who purchased a ticket and to anyone who took a dive into the raffle! ... Amazing energy, what a weekend! Brisbane and Gold Coast barber culture is alive and well.
