25.01.2022 Good morning folks its getting harder and harder to stay open sooo on that note , from now on we will be working solely by appointment. This will allow us to continue for the moment within the social guidelines with no more than 1 client each in the chair and enable us to keep the place up to scratch in between appointments. We are only allowing the person getting the haircut in the shop so dont come along with your friends or family to sit and wait for you. Come in ,... wash your hands , and take a seat in the chair. Remember, if you are feeling unwell or have been on a flight in the last two weeks ...DONT LEAVE THE HOUSE! The longer we all adhere to these rules, the longer we can stay open. So give us a call, make an appointment!! You cant get a more personal service than that oh, and Jacqui promises not to tAlk too much. 24.01.2022 Hi everyone, I hope this post finds you all safe and well and coping with the stress of this rotten virus. Can i please ask you all to be mindful of your individual situations , and if any of you have just returned from international travel and /or are feeling unwell , coughs, colds or otherwise.... please stay at home and save your haircut for another time. As the stats are showing , we have to take care of our older population and people with underlying health issues, cardiovascular and others. I would also like to remind you that our Barry is also in this category and we want to keep him healthy for a few more haircuts yet . 22.01.2022 Jacqui update!!!! Ok folks, so doctors visit yesterday....wound is not closing so still no bending properly, still no water therapy and still using both crutches!!! Other than that .....Im doing ok

18.01.2022 Hi folks , just another update from youre favourite barbers . With the ever changing rules for social distancing , we have made some changes to our corona measures. As our hours are now drastically reduced, We are no longer able to take new clients. To our existing clients, we are taking appointments only , initially between 9-12 depending on demand. We intend closing from Good Friday for 4 weeks to allow us to self isolate and recharge!!! So make sure you get youre appo...intments in . 11.01.2022 Well, what can I say!! It's been 5 great years with barberchops and 6 great years with bennyboyz. Sadly it has all come to an end as Barry and I have decided that it's time for change. Guys it has been amazing! You're loyalty, custom and friendship has been unrelenting. You have supported us through everything and we even made it through covid! And thats what made our business special. We cannot thank you all enough and hopefully we shall remain in contact with most of you... as we go forward into our next ventures and keep our friendships going. Thank you for all you're cards and gifts , fun and laughter and if ever any if you are visiting Melbourne......don't hesitate to call and we can share a beer or two. Barry and hope that you will continue our legacy and support the new owners and james with the same loyalty as you have to us. 05.01.2022 Update!,,Hi folks. Ok well , due to recent rules of social distancing etc, we have made the decision to reduce our hours . From today we are open 9am till 12 and 8 till 2pm on Saturday. We are working by appointment from 12 pm onwards Tuesday through to Friday. I understand how hard this is for everyone but it allows us to control the volume and make sure everything is sanitised in between clients. So too clarify , Walk ins between 9 am and 12 pm and appointments from 12pm onwards 1/2 hourly......... oh .... and no beards!!!! We also want to thank you all , at this point, for your patience and loyalty ! And want you to know that we appreciate it all and will do our best to stay open for as long as we can .

02.01.2022 Ok folks , so this is the post op surgeon update . Im doing well, keep doing the exercises. One more week and I can walk in the pool. Still on crutches and recommended return to work beginning of February. I want to thank all my wonderful clients ,friends and family for their kind wishes over the last 3 weeks and especially my clients patience and understanding. Also thankyou to james and Barry for holding the fort ..and doing it so well!!! I cant wait to get back to you all and take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and newyear and happy holidays xoxox love and miss you all

01.01.2022 Hi everybody, hope you are all well, staying safe, and coping with youre slightly longer hair. James and my decision to shut for a few weeks was not a decision that was taken lightly but as you can gather.... already Im feeling guilty . We were both starting to feel the onset of colds/fluey and just didnt want any of you to be at risk and so the decision was made. Its not forever!and we hope you all understand our decision and we look forward to seeing you all VERY soon. Oh!! Try not to stray.......its not worth it
