09.01.2022 2ND COVID UPDATE **** To all our valued clients and their furbabies, we are still unsure as to whether we will remain open from midnight this Wednesday due to the new Stage 4 restrictions. This is a grey area covering dog grooming but I am awaiting on updated information from the DHHS which will be released sometime tomorrow afternoon. Until then I will be trading both Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th August as normal however I am booked solid both days.... Once I know whether dog groomers can continue to trade or not I will advise as soon as I can. 06.01.2022 *Monday 14th Sep update* Today we have been advised that only retail/shopfront stores can open from the 28th September, which means no home groomers (as well as no mobile) We are still fighting hard to have this decision reversed and I am trying to get further clarification on this from my local MP as well as other govt departments, but for the moment this is where it stands.... For the moment my advice is if your dog is in desperate need for a groom, please contact one of the big chain stores and secure an appointment, if I am allowed to open sooner we can always book you in. I would prefer that your dogs health is the main priority. Having said this, I am in the process of making alternative arrangements so I can hopefully still groom in the meantime. I will be in touch with those that have been booked in to discuss further. I am so disappointed to hear this news today, I feel like I am on a rollercoaster. 04.01.2022 Hello everyone. As you may have heard from todays update on the Stage 4 restrictions, it has been extended for another 2 weeks. However grooming may still not be allowed by the 28th September, it may be pushed out to mid to late October . Hopefully this will not be the case as there are so many doggies out there that are overdue already. Unfortunately we cannot open even just for basic nail trims. If your dog is struggling with long nails, matting, bad knots and has tro...uble with fur around the eyes/hygiene area and youre concerned, please contact your vet to see if they can help to make them more comfortable in the short term. For everyone that has a booking from mid September onwards, I will be in touch in the coming days to cancel and discuss your new booking.
