25.01.2022 One of my most favourite pictures of all time. It was taken in 2017, if you look closely, the birds are in a shape of a 7. I know this has nothing to do with vintage gardens, but aren't we lucky in Australia to have beautiful sunrises like these.

25.01.2022 Normally I never share, but these are the paints and wax's I have been using for my vintage furniture. I am in need of more furniture to paint. So would love to win this, if you have any vintage/old furniture you don't want, let me know, can organise to be picked up. Remember it's not just my vintage garden I love, I also love upcycling used furniture and using the Jolie Paint from New Vintage, just in Barolin Street in Bundaberg.

23.01.2022 Happy New Year to you all. I hope to show and teach you much more in 2021 about gardening.Happy New Year to you all. I hope to show and teach you much more in 2021 about gardening.

23.01.2022 You can't beat a freshly cut lawn. Even if the garden is only just so so..a fresh cut lawn makes all the difference.

22.01.2022 Love my garden #barbsvintagegarden

22.01.2022 Nothing like a freshly mowed lawn.

21.01.2022 Waiting on Council for a reply. Looking at a cabin..pod for my home office and position it in the backyard garden. What do you think?

21.01.2022 Well today I celebrated my mum's 83rd Birthday, she didn't want to go out anywhere, it was a pretty cold day, so instead we spent it in the backyard in the garden. That's what life is about, just enjoying the simplest pleasures #barbsvintagegarden

21.01.2022 Changed the seating around. Do you like?

21.01.2022 Getting excited..the Crepe Myrtle are starting to bloom in the garden..the hot pink one when it comes out will be spectacular.

19.01.2022 Luvin my Jasmine

17.01.2022 If anyone is local in the Bundaberg/Wide Bay area and has old vintage furniture they don't want or need, happy to buy and pick up old vintage furniture. Wanting to upcycle and paint and sell as part of Barb's Vintage Garden, preferably indoor furniture only, ie bedside tables, cabinets, tables, kitchen cabinets, rocking chairs, anything that is vintage. Here are some pictures to illustrate the kind of items I am after.

14.01.2022 Meant to upload these from last weekend. Added a wall picture to the fence. Hopefully the jasmine will grow nicely around it.

13.01.2022 Loving my petunia's. Do you?

13.01.2022 OMG Have I been slack when it comes to this page!!! I have been working on some other projects, so this has taken a bit of a back step.... I'm hoping to buy some vintage furniture to sell as well. But looking at room at my place to do this. Would this be of interest to you, for those living in the Bundaberg area?

12.01.2022 Beautiful jasmine coming out...atm...the smell is devine.

09.01.2022 Loving my fresh lavendar from the garden

09.01.2022 It might be winter, but I still have a bit of colour in the garden.

08.01.2022 Love upcycling and painting furniture for a different look. This is what I did with the kitchen bench the other day. Before and after..love the black and white. Matches the rest of the kitchen perfectly.

07.01.2022 Hurry up and grow Lilly Pilly's..lol..

06.01.2022 Nice to get some beautiful rain.

04.01.2022 Anyone for a cup of tea?

04.01.2022 When it's that kind of day and you want to be floating up there with the clouds. #peace #barbsvintage #barbsvintagegarden

04.01.2022 Some random photos of my garden this week, after the rain.

03.01.2022 Adding some flowers to the vintage cottage garden. #cottagestyle #vintage

03.01.2022 Even though it's winter, you can still have colour in your garden.

03.01.2022 The yard is starting to take shape. Vegie garden soon. After this photo, I planted another 20 more lilly pillys. Great hedge with gold colour to dark coloured leaves. Blocks out the neighbours and softens the stark white fencing. Be a little Hampton Vintage when it's all finished. They grow around 2 to 4 mtres high and about 1 to 2 metres wide.... Just trim when needed to keep shape.

02.01.2022 Be a rebel...save money and grow your own food. Watch my progress...more updates to come.
