25.01.2022 I have been very lucky to be guided in my weaving journey by some very talented people. Aunty Gail Manderson, Aunty Bronwyn Razem and ladies of H.O.W.(Hands on Weavers) Wagga Wagga. I thank them for their guidance, encouragement and support.

04.01.2022 What is a Sista Basket??? Traditionally it was a large basket and was given from Mother to Daughter, Sister to Sister, Grandmother to Granddaughter or Friend to Friend. It would contain things the receiver would need - such as a kangaroo bone needle, possum skin or kangaroo skin, something special to the relationship and anything else the giver thought useful. Today it is a smaller basket with a top opening and worn as a necklace.
