22.01.2022 Unfortunately we wont be taking any more bookings for this weekend, as we have limits under our COVID Safe Plan. There will also be limited availability for people just dropping in. Table seating (both for booked & walk ins) will most likely be limited to 2 hrs due to limited capacity. We really appreciate the support we are getting from our community, but need to keep everyone safe!

20.01.2022 So good to see groups of all ages enjoying themselves at the Club last weekend! Weve got another great weekend coming up with our beer specials, The Meat Trays playing live music on Sunday afternoon from 3pm and a chance to win one! Quality music and Quality meat trays from meat at Billys!!!!!... Our volunteer team has been working hard on keeping visitors COVID safe and we are now asking for bookings on groups of 20 or more to [email protected]. We are also now recycling all cans, beer bottles & juice packs in our specially marked bins with Containers for Change, to raise funds for our community club and help our environment! You can bring yours down and add to our bins too if you like!

11.01.2022 It was great to welcome all our friends back last weekend to enjoy catching up in the beautiful Brissy weather! Keeping you abreast of the new COVID requirements - * Sign your group in, including any children, upon arrival. * All patrons are to remain seated at their allocated tables.... * Dont move around the Club & grounds unnecessarily. Help us to keep the Club open for you by also remembering - * Keep socially distancing. * Adhere to signage. * Use the correct entry & exit doors to the clubhouse. Hope to see you soon

11.01.2022 An update to our earlier post, due to demand our 2nd green will be open to accommodate COVID compliance numbers for smaller groups. However, we will be restricting access to - Adults only, bring your own picnic blanket to sit on, soft shoes or no shoes only (no wedges, stilettos etc.). Social distancing to apply. This will only be possible for a short time, as we are soon to start work on rejuvenating the green for bowls. Children will still be allowed on the other green.

11.01.2022 15 September 2020 Dear Members of the Bardon Bowls Club Our well attended AGM was held last week, with the New Committee for the Bardon Bowls Club voted in as follows: President: Gary Walker... Vice-President: Alessia Anibaldi Treasurer: Mitch Bain Secretary: Sam Allan Greens Director: Lachlan Neale General Committee members: Matty Carrol, Colleen Donaghy, Bruce Hill, Jessica McVeigh, Sally Nicolic, Amerson Stephenson & Rob Weidner We would like to thank Andrew Jackson, Kevin Prior & Gary Walker, members of the previous Committee; and our interim committee members who worked very hard to get the Club reopened in late July. Thanks also go to previous President Trevor Worth, his wife Helen and previous committee members, who spent many hours working to make the Club financially sustainable. Our vision is to see the Club become a hub for all members of our community. We plan for work to start soon on the rejuvenation of our playing green, so we can welcome bowlers back. Thanks to our COVID Safe Plan we have recently welcomed locals to celebrate 21st get togethers, birthdays, weddings, pre-formal functions, childrens parties and sadly a wake. No bookings still available for large groups over 20 on Saturday or Sunday, but smaller groups (walk ins) still welcome.
